These are really good brushes to use yes. Reason being is they are a straight pin brush. The brushes with the tips on the pins can destroy coat. I'm not sure what you are using right now, so I couldn't tell you if it is the wrong type, but the way I see it as long as you are brushing your dog(s) with something that is better than not brushing at all. :D

LOL! Yea but we would like to upgrade our brushes. I'm using a slicker brush but I don't really like this one. Do you think the Mark small head would be better? How much is shipping anyways?

Hi, I have the fusion brush.....it has a tip on the end I think???gosh I am not at home....but was supposed to be the "perfect" brush due to static and less damaging......

Am I incorrect???

I am all about upgrading. LOL :D And will do my best to help advise on what would work best on your Yorkie's coat. I don't typically use the slickers on my Yorkies I prefer the brushes with long pins. Reason being is it gets down close to the skin and gets all those little "tangles" out. In my opinion the slickers are more for "poof" which is why I recommended the Mark X (this baby is very tiny!!! it would take you all day to groom a dog with it, the head measures about an inch across by max an inch long) for the leg furnishings. When I am brushing regular coat (not furnishings) is when I prefer the pin brushes. But again it is all personal preference. Hope this helps.

I just checked his website and as far as I can tell none of his brushes have tips. All of his fusion's are pins. You are correct it is a super brush for static and damage control, but I don't belive it has tips. I could be totally wrong though. :D Will you let me know when you get home if it has tips... now I am curious. LOL

I need a comb to use daily...both my Yorkies have relatively silky full coats.

What can you recommend.....from what I hear we should not use combs for after bathing...or is it the opposite? I already have Chris's small size pin brush (which I love) now I need the comb.

Please recommend

Hi Tina,
I don't recommend brushing a dry coat at all, you can get tons of breakage. I always bathe, then brush, then comb. The reason I brush then comb is when you brush you get most of the snarles out but following up with a quick comb out will ensure you have gotten all of the "mini" snarles out that can lead to mats. Thats just how I do it though. Everyone does it differently, I don't think there is a wrong way to do it. :) If you are interested in a comb I would either recommend the 008 or the 011F. The 008 is great if you do top knots, it has the rat tail to help part the hair. But if your dog is trimmed I would probably recommend the 011F, it has a regular handle. Those are just my opinions. If I can be of anymore help just let me know!!!

After I get rid of all of these that will be it for me. Take your time deciding, the only ones I had low stock on are already gone which are the 000 and the 006, everything else I have at least 5 of if not more.

just curious....is the $35 for the 011F the sale price....just wondering what the full price is......I kinda like that comb....not sure if it is the one I need but it will probably work on one or the other of my 2.
