Heated Dog Beds
 
Anyone have any recomendations for heated dog beds? I was thinking with winter approaching that I would get each of my boys one for their kennels. They sleep in their kennels at night.

Anyone have one?

I've been curious about the same thing.... the little microwavable heated discs seem the safest as far as bed-heat for our babies - but do they stay warm throughout the night? I'm so afraid of Natalie getting chilled during the long nights!!

yes..I concerned of safety. I have found some that plug in but just worried how safe they are.

At one point I did consider getting a pet heating pad or bed but I was worried about the cords and what if the puppy peed on the pad and got electrocuted...

So I bought 3 snugglesafe heating disks (one each for the two kitties and one for the puppy).

I feel these are safer than the heating pads and water bottles (you don't want the dog to chew the water bottle and get scalded).

It's sold at Petsmart, but I ordered mine online.

I haven't used mine yet since I only got it a few days ago and it hasn't been too cold. If you do a search for "snugglesafe", I think some members here have used it.

i use a heating pad on low , but i fear it's not safe. we don't use microwaves because of the unhealthy rays so the disc won't help us. i'd like to find something good.

I'd love to invest in this, but Rockie would have different ideas. He's is still playing and chewing with everything in sight. I would be afraid he would hurt himself. I'm still telling him no to almost everything he does.:rolleyes:

ItsyBitsy, Thank you for that link. I noticed they even have covers for the heating pads you can buy. I'm also going to check out the meowme.com sleepypods suggested by Lilacss. Thanks, both of you for the suggestions. :thankyou2

Thanks for the reply's. Those sound like some good options. I'll check them both out. I really wanted something for Remmy as he gets cold easy. He's my bigger boy at about 7lbs but he always seems like he is cold in the winter.
