Walmart vs Target
 
I was in Walmart this evening so I went in the pet isle and they have some really cute new items! I loved the camo harness for boys and they had some really cute hoodies! :thumbup:

Is Walmart trying to keep up with Target? :rolleyes:

Walmart seems to have more t-shirts, and sweaters, but some Walmarts are carrying a more extensive line of dresses, coats, etc. The Walmart that has the most dog apparel has the LuLu Pink line, along with an expanded Simply dog line, plus generic sweaters and coats. Target seems to have more pet apparel lines and variety of apparel options. So I guess with the introduction of the LuLu Pink line they are sort of trying to keep up with Target.

I've been surprised at how much cuter the pet clothing is getting at Walmart. And Target frustrates me a lot of the time because they have the same old stuff forever...

I checked our pet section at walmart a few days ago and they expanded their clothing to include lulu pink,although most of it was sold out :( Most all of the smaller sizes were gone.

The Target in our area has had the same clothes since the summer...nothing new. I never make a special trip there for dog stuff ... only if I have to get something else I will take a glance hoping to find something new. I will definitely have to check out Walmart.

I'm really impressed by what Walmart has lately. I think the prices are awesome and the selection is really really cute! I got Lula (my lhasa) a Simply Dog pink heart coat there and it's so cute. I love all the little holiday tees and dresses too!

I LOVE walmart clothes!!! Especialy the new MaxiMillion (sp?) line! They have such cute boy stuff!

Here are some of the things I've gotten so far. Plus I got a cute Camo tank that says Top Dog thats not pictured.

LOVE Walmart for T's and Tanks!

My Walmart & Target have to come up to speed they have horrible clothes. You would think they would have some summer beach clothes since we are so close to Miami Beach?????

I don't know what Wal-Mart is trying to do, LOL...but they sure DO seem to have more doggie clothes than Target does. Well, here anyway. Although of course they never have the SPECIFIC item I am looking for, but that's just my bad luck - it always works out that way for me so I'm used to it lol :p

I have always been jealous of you guys and your Target clothes. BUT our Walmart has now expanded their section!! I got Coby's new bomber jacket (pics in my other thread) tonight. It's so cool. They had so much stuff - it was so hard to choose. I would have stood there forever, but my hubby picked the bomber jacket and got me moving. I wanted to get the camo harness (but I didn't see a matching leash and I'm funny that way!).

My Wal-Mart never had pet clothing or even much of a selection of pet stuff, BUT now, they have 3 aisles devoted to pet stuff!! Yay! :yay_jump:

Same with my Wal-Mart. They have far more doggy clothes and supplies than they did last year. They have in some great looking coats at mine. Can't wait to go shopping for them.

I'm not a Walmart shopper, but after the big LuluPink drama thread, I went to check it out. They did have tons of cute stuff! I have yet to see a Target with much of anything. Do the Targets you all are shopping at really have any kind of dog selection? There are maybe 4 different dog outfits, and they are never in sizes that fit.

The Targets near me usually have alot of the doggy apparel, right now its cleaned out because they are clearancing out the old stuff to make room for winter.
