the BEST toy 2 Attachment(s) i went to get Layla a new toy today after throwing all hers away :p this is called the Q-Tease and it is made by Kong. It comes with a squeaky tennis ball up the birds behind and the rope forms a draw string to hold the ball in. BUT i took the ball out and put treats in the pouch and pulled the draw string!!! took her a good while to get those out! which is so great since i'm trying to get a bunch of homework done!!! PLUS she loves when the squeaky ball is in there and it is a good tug of war toy!!!! i love it! |
It has a squeaky ball in it? Not made in China? YAY!!!!! Now, where did you get it? |
Cute, cute! Where did you get it? Poor Harley is in need of toys thanks to China. Lol. |
well i coudlnt find WHERE It was made but i know that Kongs are made in the USA.. at least that is what it says on our Kong. i got it at a local pet store... i think i'm going to go look into it where it is made.. because althought it MIGHT be made in the USA doens't mean the materials come from there  what a mess! i might put it in the wash tonight. get most of the surface level dye out. Question... does anyone know about how to wash the toys?? do you put them in the dryer??? |
that is really cute! I'm glad Layla is enjoying it! |
I would put in a little laundry bag to wash, but I wouldn't put it in the dryer. |

I wouldn't put them in the dryer, but I would think the washer would be okay. I don't know how effective that would be to get lead out though. |

Hi, I just wanted to say that all Kong toys are made in the USA. You can check their official site that says so here at Kong User Guides: http://www.kongcompany.com/userGuide...UserGuide.html They also tell you how to take care and when to replace your Kong. Just an FYI: Make sure your kongs are made by Kong Company USA. There are a lot of pet stores that sell fake kongs just because they are so popular, and most of those ARE made over seas. Every kong from Kong Company USA will come with a user guide. I hope this was helpful. |

The plush kongs, apparently are made in China. But the company says they are safe. I hope they are right. Quote:

My guys don't play with rubber toys, but I'm wondering for those that do could you put them in a laundry bag and wash them with soap and bleach to get the dye off? |
That give me a great idea. I'll take a clean sock, put some treats in the toe along with one of the squeekers I have that you put in stuffed toys, and tie it off with a small cord and watch the fun. :D |
Thats soo cute. I normally was then dry mine. |
