Question about Minksheen
 
For those of you who use it, what conditioner do you use with it? I looked on their website and they don't make a conditioner.. do they not need one with it?

Also, does anyone know if it is okay to use on them once a week?

I have found that they don't need conditioner with it. I try to bathe mine once a week and have no problems with it. Haven't had any problems with fleas either!

I use Pantene conditioner. I bathe mine with it once a week also

I bathe once a week and I don't use a conditioner. I love Mink Sheen! I have been using it since the beginning of being owned by yorkies. ( Did I just admit that?)

I don't use any conditioner with it...And it works really nicely with Miko's hair :)

A conditoner is not needed with Minksheen. Bathing your Yorkie
2x weekly may not be such a good idea. That can cause dry skin
plus your removing the natural oils in the coat.
Why 2x weekly?

My Otis has allergies, so I only bathe him once every 2-3 weeks, unless he finds some deliciously gross thing to roll in outside!!!!! I don't use conditioner with it. I love it!

I only bathe him once a week. I think he'd go nuts if I tried to bathe him twice a week. lol

I use this once a week on Angel and no conditioner is required. Minksheen is considered a 4 in 1 shampoo - shampoo, coat conditioner, antibacterial and flea repellent.

It doesn't work well on Sissy's coat. She gets Buddy Wash & Buddy Rinse.
