Bully sticks So, even after I found out what Bully sticks really are (bull penis) I still give them to my pups. Riley would chew on one for hours if I didn't take it away. Does anyone know where to get some online for a reasonable price? I know that some are better than others. I know $5 for one doesn't seem like a lot, but when you have little diggers/hiders like me, they disappear fast. |
Kathryn V sells them (Pixie sticks) at Beyond Spoiled.com. Hers are great. They don't smell bad. The cheapest I have found them is on ebay from http://stores.ebay.com/Alleys-Treats But they do smell bad when they get chewing on them. |

At one time we felt Costco was the cheapest place to buy them even over E-bay.... but I do know Costco raised their prices so not so sure now... You might check there. |

Yep, this is where I get them, too. I just ordered some more. We are down to only three in the house!!! We've never been that low on them before! |
well Ill have to go checkout the ebay link later, I found this site and thought it was reasonable. http://www.bestbullysticks.com/home/bbs/smartlist_1 |
I looked at Costco the other day and couldn't find any. :( |
I agree that Ebay has some of the lowest prices. Another good option are Merrick Flossies (they're spiral-y bully sticks). But stay away from the bully sticks that are in a circle shape! There's a threat in the general forum where a little fur-baby got stuck in one :'( |
Kathryn V has good quality bully sticks at a good price on her website www.beyondspoiled.com. I would be very leary about buying bargin sticks from someplace like ebay or Costco, especially if they came from somewhere like China, or who knows where. I just ordered 10 from Kathryn. Before ordering these all we allowed Sydney to have were Red Barn or Merrick's. |

The ones some of us here get from e-bay are from CA and are just as safe as Merrick's and Red Barn. It's just when you buy in bulk you get a better deal as with many, many things. :) |
Do they smell as bad as they sound. Sorry there's something about cow or bull dingers gross me out. |
Some bully sticks are really stinky..... the ones from BeyondSpoiled.com do not have an odor. Neither do the ones from the ebay site listed. From my experience Red Barn Bully Sticks are among the most expensive AND most stinky -- p-u |

I just checked out Alley's Treats on Ebay. Prices and quality looks real good. I guess any day you can learn something is a good day.. If you buy in bulk can you put them in the freezer to keep them fresh? |
