how to clean their toys? This may be a stupid question, but does anyone clean their doggies toys, like the squeaky animal ones? And if you do, how do you do it? I was going to throw them in the washer but thought it might ruin the squeaker. thanks! Camly |
I always throw their squeaky toys in the wash and luckily none have been ruined...give it a whirl..it should be ok!! Your avatar is ADORABLE by the way!! Dawn |
I toss them into the washer, too. I don't put them in the dryer if they have a squeaky in them. I haven't ruined any yet... heck, they ruin more toys than I ever could in the laundry!:D |

thanks sweetr72! it took me so long how to figure out how to make an avatar! haha |
I throw everything in the washer it is fine |
I am totally in love with the Dr. Noy's Material Dog toys with the replaceable squeekers --I remove the squeekers and then throw in the washer and dryer. Rubber toys are washed rinsed with scalding water. |

I wash them in the washer if they are cloth :) But if they're rubber like the kong toys, I soak them and wash them in the sink :) |
I put the cloth ones in the washer and drier. I dry on delicate because of squeekers and they come out beautiful! |
I have been putting everything in the washer, every 4 days and they still SQUEAK:D Even though sometimes i wish it didn't, like 6 in the morning. |
your lucky the toys can STILL squeak! princess broke all her squeaky toys cept for her soccer balls  |
I also put them in the washer...and the rubber ones I let sit in hot soapy water in the sink and then wash well and let dry. I would complain about Gordon chewing up his toys...but my Shiz Tzu chewed up my baseboard and it had only been put down two weeks before. So far, the only thing Gordon chews is his toys. |
I put them in the washer then let them air dry. |

and since it seems like eveyrone does wash their toys (i've just end up buying new ones and stashing the old ones til I figure out what to do with them) I will TRY and attempt putting them in that washer b/c knowing myself, i'll ruin it somehow .. but we'll see! :p |
