Revolution Flea & Tick Question Hi guys! :wavey: I've been lurking around and reading alot! I saw several people mentioned they used Revolution Flea & Tick monthly treatments. Where's the best place on the web to get the best price. I've seen it for as much as $44.95 for 3 months and as low as $26.95 for 3 months. Has anyone found it any cheaper than $26.95. Oh, and my Gracie is about 7 1/2 lbs and she's almost 7 months old! Here's pics of her when she was about 2 1/2 months and the last was in February after she had her first professional grooming. Thanks in advance for any info! http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...11-2006001.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ary2007038.jpg |

And 5$ in your pocket  is better than 5$ in their pocket! Just a suggestion! Oh, and no prescription needed. good luck! Debbie Oh, and as an added bonus, next year they shall send you a calendar! Sweet, yes??? FREE S&H also! |
Have anyone buy the big vial for dog up to 80lbs and devided into 8 ? or accoding the the dose ? I am thinking to do that and it will save alot especially if you have several dogs http://www.canadavet.com/index.cfm/c...lay/psid/18163 |
Frontline Plus I use frontline plus for up to 20# and split it between the two. My vet actually recommended that I do that. |
thats soo smart....i use frontline too, but i only have one baby....do u think there is any way to save it for next month or no??? |
I did that for my puppy. Just gave her half then put a piece of tape around the opening and gave her the other half the next month. |
I think that is what I am going to do. The dose for revolution is 0.25 ml for every 5lbs so I am going to devide 2ml into 8 and you can aslo use an insulin syringe. |
It is Not Effective against Ticks! I just read some of the information about it. The only Tick species that it treats is the American Dog Tick. It is not effective against the Deer Tick (and you do NOT need to live in an area with Deer to have Deer Ticks around). Check for prevalence of Lyme's disease in your area, and if you have it, I would not use Revolution - I would use one of the products which is labeled for Ticks (Advantix or Frontline Plus). My dog tested positive for Lymes when we got her - her prior owner had been using a product not labeled for Ticks. |
also, just something to keep in the back of your mind. When meds are purchased from an online store and not your vet the company that makes the product will not back you up and reimburse you for anything that may happen to your pet while on the product. For instance if your put gets bit by a tick and developes lyme disease the company will not pay for the treatment if you purchased the product from a petstore. however if you purchase from the vet they will. |
I wont use anything but revolution & I get it here http://www.deadfleaz.com but they also have all the other top flea products. I like revolution because it takes care of heartworms, earmites, mange mites. You dont have to worry about that. Which you really dont til your dog gets it then you're like Oh Crap:rolleyes:. And its really horrible for the dog to suffer w/fleas, mites & parasites. I think its $27 for a 3 pk on this site. Their shipping is only $6.95. I have never had a prob & have ordered many times. |
