Yes, I too have heard the same thing about Cingular. A friend of mine got two phones that never worked. They were never able to get a refund or a replacement, and then they were stuck in contract for a year. |
Beware of Sprint. I have been with them for yeaaaaaars. Anyhow, my phone broke and decided to buy a new one versus having to pay 50 bucks deductible from the insurance to get it fixed.
Well, since you are already a customer you must pay FULL price for any phone.......so I did :rolleyes:
I come back 2 days later because the phone kept shutting off and on whenver it wanted and getting 'stuck' in the same screen. You know what they did? They mailed me an exact same phone back and a box to return my damaged phone (no problem right?).
I did notice the 'new' phone was scratched and dirty looking..........when I put in the battery to power it on............it clearly said REFURBISHED. I felt cheated on.........I payed all this $$ for the phone to get a used/fixed phone now way! I went to the store and demanded a new phone........they refused.
I knew I was withing the returnable time frame so I did just that. They were speechless. I left the refurbished phone there and made them return it (not me). I marched right out with my refund and went on ebay and bought a darned phone there......
Apparantly, this happens all the time :eek: |
