Just had to post a pic of my new dog carrier. I got it from Petedge.com for $25.99 +shipping. It is the perfect size and it looks a lot like a purse, so I am hoping I can sneak him into different places... Tucker is 13 weeks old in this pic.

Very cute and a good buy too! I really like the ones that have a top opening. Wish mine was made more like that. What a little cutie peaking out too -- looks like he approves!

OMG! I just ordered this same bag off of Ebay last week! I think I'll be getting it this week sometime!

I ordered it because the breeder I got Tetley from has one and she swears by it. :) Her dogs love it.

The sides are made of the same sturdy faux croc leather and both are zippered. I have attached pics of the backside and inside too. It came with a cell phone holder and shoulder strap. I do have to say that the description describes the outside front pocket as being zippered, but it is velcro. I love this carrier already. We took Tucker for a visit to a relative's house, and it is as nice as it looks! I hope that it holds up well.

I have the medium size one, but it is too large for me. If anyone wants the medium size in cranberry I will sell it for $35 plus shipping. It has never been used.

Thank you, this has been my first experience using a carrier, and was not sure what to expect or how to train Tucker to be quiet and good while in the carrier, but he has done very well. When he whines I sing to him! lol It settles him right down and I think he does enjoy being in it. He is a very good puppy! I too love the look of this carrier. I was thinking about buying the brown one too!

I love the Croc PetEdge carrier. Does anyone know if it fits over the shoulder?

The medium comes with a shoulder strap in addition to the two handles. I am not sure about the small one.

Probably so. It is quite wide as well as long. I just tried my 10 lb. dachshund in there. She fit okay, but I would like it a little longer for her to be really comfortable. But, I doubt that a yorkie, even a 10 pound one, is as long as a miniature dachshund.

It would probably be perfect for a 10 lb. yorkie. My two 5 lb. yorkies fit in their together just fine. I would have no problem takeing both of them in it.

A Silly Question for East Side Collection Croc Carrier Owners
 
Hi Everyone, My East Side Collection Croc Carrier came from PetEdge today. With it, were two strips with snaps on them. Does anyone know what to do with those strips. I figure that they must be used a support in some way or another but I'm not sure. Thanks, Lizzie-

I was going to get the brown but changed my mind at the last minute because I thought the red would be more neutral. I'm a little sorry but it is not a bright red -- more of a cranberry. The other one I really like is the Pawsmopolian Carrier Sm Chestnut -- bowling bag shape with tweed fabric. My next order will be for some of the summer stripes.

Hi Lizzie, I couldn't figure it out either when mine came. I had to wait till my hubby got home. They go across the inside top to give more support. If you can't figure it out, I can post pics for you.

I finally got it. I knew they same in somewhere for support, I was just trying to find a way to get the strips to fit without having to bend them.

Yeah, you have to bend them a bit. I've been using my carrier for over a week now and I love it! I love the long strap that I can just throw over my head so I can carry it cross-wise and have my hands totally free. I got Tetley used to it by leaving it open on the floor for several days and tossed treats in there every once in a while. He's comfortable in it now but he still doesn't like me to close the mesh top on him. :rolleyes:

I just love this bag. My wallet and cell phone fit in the front pocket, and Tucker is very comfortable in it. I give him a rawhide bone to chew on in it, and he is so good! I have snuck him into stores, restaurants, and even the library and local college and no one ever knew. I took him to a birthday party, and they couldn't believe that I had stood and talked to them and they did not know I had a puppy with me!:)
