no such thing as a stupid ? keep that in mind when you read this question please...... where do you buy the latex bands for braces? LOL should I go into the dentist office and ask if I can buy some for my yorkie's topknot? and are they less expensive than the latex bands that are sold as topknot bands? |
you can buy tiny elastics at Walmart.. in the kids' hair section.. they come in clear and pastel colors. |
I use those rubber bands for my dog's hair, but I wear braces so I always just pretend that I ran out to get more:D |
I get rubber bands for my girl here: http://www.jawproducts.com/orthodont...ics-c-234.html They ship very quickly and they are of excellent quality. |
I just called a dentist's office and asked where I could find them and was told to come by and they would give me some. They were very nice and wouldn't let me pay for them! However, I have found that regardless of what kind I use on Toto, her hair breaks. I now use the little bitty "ouchless" ones from Wal-Mart and have no problem with breakage any more. ;) |
My groomer gives them to me. |
bands Finishing Touch site..any pet supply catalog like Petedge, Cherry Brooke, J&B, Foster Smith...Good Luck |

Have you thought about using those paper??? My last 2 yorkies always had those thin paper (almost like wrapping tissue paper) and rubber band so it won't break her hair. Momiji's hair isn't long enough for paper yet so she only gets rubber band for now and it does break some but I'm not so worried. She looks sooo cute with topknot!!!! |
