Harness for my furbabies First off, I am a new member to YT and have just adopted two furbabies. I was on your website a couple of weeks ago and saw a tread about harnesses for small dogs. I checked the websites that were listed and liked what I saw. Unfortunatly, I decided to wait until I actually got my babies before I got them. Problem is, I now cannot locate the sites. Does anyone have any info on this? |
There are lots of members here who make harnesses. Check out www.go.fetch.home.comcast.net If you look under the "Sticky Notes" of Featured Yorkie Products or Yorkie Products for Sale or Wanted you will see a huge alphabetical list of doggie sites. Welcome to YT and congratulations on your puppies!! |

I'm making custom harnesses as well. I have tons of great fabric and I always add some cute whimsical touches to my designs! In the For Sale/Wanted Section I have a post called Lots for Sale and I have all my new fabric up and some samples of my things! All items are hand sewn and I only use quality material and I make sure that every harness is custom fit to your babies! Check it out! Each harness is $15 w/free shipping! |
What did the harness look like? Was it a vest type or the thinner ones like a leash? I've tried several and I now use the step in type. The vest harnesses are super cute but Jazzie does not do well in them. The ones I tried goes around the neck and if she pulls too hard on the leash it makes her start hacking so I need to put her in ones that supported by her chest and not her neck. |
Oh-my-gosh! I'm so rude! Welcome to YorkieTalk and congratulations on your two new babies! |
Anyone Use a Snoozer Lookout Original for Two Pups? I currently have a Snoozer Lookout Console car seat and it is fine for one of my babies. But since I now have two, I need another alternative. I've been looking at the Original Lookout and want to know if it is large enough for both my pups. Sissy is 4 lbs and I don't expect Angel will be much larger than that. Since it says this seat holds up to an 18 lb dog - will my girls have enough room?? Neither one are very long or very wide. I want them to be able to lie down, using the edge of the seat as a headrest. Comments are appreciated....... |

Welcome to YT 4 Attachment(s) Hi, Welome to YT. I know it is so hard when you fine something you read that you like and then can't find it again. There are so many people that make wonderful items here. You may want to check out my site too I have some beautiful fabrics (over 100 to choose from). Best of luck finding your perfect harness. |
I make Dupioni Silk Step-In harnesses. |
3 Attachment(s) :yorkietal: WELCOME TO YT! :yorkietal: I hit the "post button" before posting pics, sorry..... but here are a couple of pics of the harnesses I make. I am sure that you will find that perfect harness for your little one. There are so many talented craftspeople here at YT. GOOD LUCK! |
I just wanted to add that I have harness dresses, harness vests, pull on harness, pull-on hoodie harness, and silk step-in harness. I use them for different things - so you may want to try a few. I'll use all the above for most of the year.. but when it gets really hot here, I'll use Chattiesmon's silk step in. My Mia has long hair and it's like she's not wearing anything. It's actually alot lighter weight than what her pictures show. And anything you need - you "can" find here on YT  Good Luck! |

It's just my opinion but I think you'd like the Buddy Look Out II. I have the Look Out II and absolutely love it. But I am thinking about getting another pup and I know that I'll have to get the Buddy one. Mia's only 6 lbs but I want them to have enough room to lay down and be comfortable. Good Luck! |
If you are just looking for a regular harness they have them at Petsmart/Petco. I just bought one for my 11 week old boy & he likes it much better than his collar & it is a lot easier to walk him on his leash! Welcome to YT! |

I'd like to order 2 - both with chest measurements of 11 Inches. Caleb is going to be year in March and Zeke is 5 months old. Caleb weighs a little over 2 and 1/2 lbs. Zeke weights a little over 2 lbs. I would like to order Caleb the Bright Blue and Zeke the Lime Green. Please PM me with instructions. Thanks! I already own one harness for my other Yorkie and she wears it practically all the time and doesn't even notice it is on. |

I found the PERFECT harness for my little guy Poco Bocelli. It's called "Choke-Free Step-n-Wrap" What I love about it is that it is so easy to put on. All you do is place your little guy or little girl's feet and legs through the leg openings and wrap the ends around the shoulders and push the leash ring through the Velcro closure. You can get them in all colors but I liked the plain black leather that blended in with his coat. It has cute silver paw prints on each side of the harness. Just be sure and measure carefully so you get the right size. Since they are made of leather they will stretch slightly after a while. Here is the link where you can order them. Check out the photo gallery too. The second and third picture the dogs are wearing the same kind I got for Poco Bocelli http://home.palmnet.net/~terryd/ |
