alaskayorkiebooties! 1 Attachment(s) After 2 years of whining about not being able to find the perfect bootie for my guys, I talked my mother-in-law into making a set to my specs. They came out great! Shana's gonna kill me for the loud colors clashing with their outfits, but I wanted them bright so they can be found if they fall off. The only thing I'd change is I'd go a little higher up on the velcro. The specs for Eddie's bootie: 3" tall 2" wide Nylon outer layer Fleece liner 3/4" velco metal buckle And, no, I have no plans to mass produce these for profit. It took us almost an hour a bootie for this first set! |
They look great! Now I just need to make them outfits to match thier booties :p |

Great!!! Now we just need to see them modeling!!! |
Cute:) They need some grippy tread on the bottom, though. I think the boys would look smashing in a bright yellow and red outfit:D |

As for slip control... Can you cut some of them peel & stick sanding paper on the bottom? or sew on some plastic golf cleats. |
You can use iron on sleeper soles for the feet..... These work great for numerous things... Sleeper Soles |
Yeah, we went out in real icy conditions, and Eddie started out walking pretty gingerly. They were slippery. By the end of the walk, he was sprinting, but I'm going to have to do something about the traction. Thanks for the suggestions! |
