Anyone have this playpen? What do you think of it? I've had my eye on this one for awhile now. I could use this for so many places! Really also think it would be great to take to Grandma's house! Do you use small, med or large? I thought this was a great price! Let me know what you think! Thanks in advance! http://www.petstreetmall.com/Soft-Pu...pen/5056/1897/ |
I don't use the soft play pens, the ones I use are the steel ones. Mine would chew the soft one apart. But it looks like a really nice pen and if mine didn't like to chew so much I would get it for mine. I would probably get the medium size. |
awwww thank you for input and advice....must not be very many on here that have this. Thanks again!:) |
I have that exact one and i love it, Cali was in it from the day I got her and trained very easy using it. Now the new dog I got Saturday hates it bit I am trying to get her use to it. |
I Love Mine I think this is a perfect playpen. I got it for Annie and the only problem we have is she is too little too get in and out of it so far, we built her a little ramp:rolleyes: But she will grow!! She loves to chew but we give her a bully stick and she hasn't tried to chew it yet. Kasey |
I have this one in pink. Just bought it about a month ago to use for Lily(my new puppy) and she has not chewed through it or anything. It is very sturdy and roomy. Just enough room for potty pad, bed, food and water...toys. Its a good playpen. |
Wow! That is an awesome deal! How come everything ALWAYS goes on sale after I buy it  :( I have that play pen in pink and blue for my boy and girl and it is awesome!!  Just the right size, easy to pack up and take on the go and very sturdy. My litter girl is a chewer and a jumper and whenever I leave her in this pen at home I know she is safe :) If you ever do get worried abot them jumping out they do sell tops for these at petsmart and you can also use a baby crib fitted sheet that works just as well. I would absolutely get the pen, you won't be sorry and for that price you are getting an AWESOME deal!!:) :) :) |
Oh and my little girl (currently under 2 pounds and almost 4 months old) has a medium which is perfect for her and my 2 year old 4 pound boy has the large which gives him enough room to run around in it if I need him out of the way or off of the floor for a while. |

In my petsmart, they are right underneath where the sell the pens and are called Happy Trails Play Pen Covers. They are fitted to the pen and have small mesh holes at the top so you can still see in. If you can't find them you can get like a medium sized fitted baby crib sheet at walmart and fit the sheet to the top of the pen. It works great. I use it for Jewelina sometimes when I don't want to use their pen covers. |

Ah! $71.00! That's an even better deal! I paid over 100.00 for both of mine. I guess my impetous nature does my budget harm! I always have to go out and get something the moment I want it...I need to learn to wait for the sales! I think you'd like the pen for your new baby, I have never regretted getting mine (just the timing of getting mine!! Dang those sale ads for not coming out earlier!:( :p ) |
I have this one in blue. My more ladylike Yorkie uses it fine cause she was used to it when I got her.(at 6 months) On the other hand, my monster, tomboy pup can get out of it. Somehow she finds a way to jump or climb out. I probably would not leave any of mine in it when I'm not around to check on them. I have two other ex pens for that. It is good for taking to other peoples houses and stuff if you don't want to use a small kennel or tote. My relatives think I'm nuts when I set up a playpen for my dogs!! :D |
Thank you everyone!!! I'm going to take your advice and buy it!!! I think I could put it good use! :o) Thanks again! |
I've thought about getting the playpen too. It's so cute and when I need to do somethings around the house I figured it would be a safe place for her to play. But what I'm wondering is should I use the playpen to train my new puppy or should I get her a wire crate and use that to train her in. What would you recommend? |
