Does anybody use the finger toothbrushes ? I was at the pet store today and I saw these finger toothbrushes. They looked like they would be much easier to use than the regular brushes. Has anyone had any experiences with these? |
Yep! I use them on one of my girls, and in fact, I had to start with the finger brushes on the other dogs before making the transition to a bristle toothbrush. Whatever it takes to get your baby started is the way to go!! |
It was a hassle trying to get that in the dogs mouth. It seemed too large. I just buy tiny tooth brushes and they don't mind that at all. :p |
it's great if you dog doesn't tolerate a brush but in my opinion is not as good as a regular brush. |
Thanks everyone for the input. |
I started with the finger ones but sometimes he tries to bite it and i dont want to loose a finger so i ended up buying the bristles one lol! |
I started with the finger brush and eventually worked up to a baby's tooth brush. I only use it when I am in a hurry. I feel the bristles on the brush really scurb the teeth and the rubber finger one just goes over them. Carol & Buddy:aimeeyork |
I use the finger ones. It seems like you're just rubbing the teeth not scrubbing them, but my vet claims that there are enzymatics in the toothpaste that do the majority of the work anyway, so it's really just a good idea to get the paste in there. I'm not sure I entirely believe this, as it seems so much paste gets eaten ;) Teresa |
Touth Brusch I use baby toothbrushes and Gwen likes them better than the finger brush. |
