Jennie, I too purchase directly from the manufacturer, his name is Bud Groth. He is a Small Business like you and I. And the reason for not having everyone out there undercutting each other is so that they don't devalue his product. I in NO way intended my post to be directed at you in any way shape or form... I was just trying to point out to the other members that the pricing should be the same no matter where they go... that it need not be posted who carries what... we all carry alot of things. Please don't take my post personally. I was just giving a testimony on the product. It is in fact a wonderful product and everyone should be using it on their dogs, regardless of where the buy it!! I'll post pictures of Charlies teeth a bit later so you all can see how great they look!!! For a six+ year old dog who has NEVER had a dental.. they look pretty good!!!! And they are getting better every day! |

If I were to be told that I need to sell at a certain price, I would certainly change my pricing to follow their rules. I've even e-mailed them to confirm that I am not breaking any of their rules and am waiting a response. I doubt it though, as I ordered through Bud as well.:D |
Hmmmmm I think I need some of this for Hallie! She has some tartar and some stinky breath and I've tried just about everything! |

My Zoe gave me hell when we first started brushing her teeth but they will eventually fight less and less each time. When we first started brushing her, it would take us over 1/2 hour  but now, she tolerates it so much more! So I wanted to tell you there is absolutely hope for your pug. I see it this way, I'd rather fight with her to brush her teeth and spend $40 than to have to put her to sleep have her teeth cleaned yearly or worst, have her loose teeth. Try those finger brushes at first, and slowly move into a brush with a tiny head...fair warning, they might bite you at first  but it's all in a day's work :p plus it does help with the breath. I'd have bad breath if I didn't brush my teeth either :) |
I ordered some from Kathryn earlier this week and I cant wait to try it. Penny has been having problems with her gums and teeth and Ive tried regular toothpaste but it is so hard to brush her teeth, she will literally molest the toothbrush while I try and brush her mouth, lol. So Im hoping the spray can be somethign easier to deal with. Plus my little girls arent very cooperative, I hope the finger brush will be easier with them too. IM trying the gel and the spray. After I use it I will post about results! Im so excited! |
I've ordered, I hope this works!!!! I don't ever want to have yucky teeth in this house again!! :p |
I got some from Kathryn too. I'm excited to try it after talking with her about it. I was worried about Alphy's teeth and she talked to me for about for over an hour....Until 1am in the morning.... how's that for customer service?!?!? LOL :p  Thanks Kathryn. I can't wait to try it. |
3 Attachment(s) Thanks Whitney! You should have yours by Saturday! It took me a while, I got caught up with the Family and all, but I did get those pictures taken! In fact I got pictures of more than Charlie... I told you all that I use the PetzLife with all four of my dogs so I decided to take pictures of them all.... Well, Chynna wanted Nothing to do with it! And Pixie almost got out of it too! She can fight like a BEAR! But I got her! Charlie Is looking soooo good... He's actually alot better than I realized! I'd say he is about 85% better than when we got him home!!! Its amazing! Pixie and Paris had started building up some tarter and are the reason I started using it in the first place, and they look wonderful. Chynna is using it purely as a preventitive and should never see any tarter as long as we keep her on a spray a day! Pixies picture is not so good... the flash freaked her out...so I tried it without... hmmm not the best quality picture... I will have to try taking it during the day outside in the sun! lol The first is Paris, the second Charlie.. and the third is Pixie. |
Thanks! Its going to be a struggle, but I'll try. She runs and hides under the bed if she see's be grab a towel, (she thinks its bath time) or the nail clippers! I'm going to check out your site. Gotta love the 10% discount !!! Quote:

I don't know what is safe usage. Someone told me that using everyday is bad because it throws off bacteria content in mouth? I was brushing Spark's teeth everyday and no tartar but now that I'm not, I see a little bit...but what is safe?? suzie |
I use it every day and am having NO problems... it is Vet recommended and Many Vets sell in in their offices. Its all natural and will not cause any damage. The maintenance schedule is supposed to be every third day, but I noticed some build up starting to come back so I started every day and it totally keeps everything in check! I'll try cutting back to every other day soon and see how that goes... But even every day will not cause harm. You are supposed to use it every day while your removing the tarter and Plaque. I don't use the gel every day when I am Maintaining... just the spray. I will brush just to keep them in the habit but its with a minimal amount of gel or with just the spray... I mix it up! ;) |
I was doing what you are doing...the gel every 2-3 days and the spray everyday until my friend told me about distrupting the balance. when I did it that way...no tartar. Now, I see some (very little) on his one front canine and back teeth. Not horrible but not as good as when I did it everyday. suz |
does everyone suggest the salmon flavored or regular flavor??? |
I say... a spray a day Keeps the Tarter away! I'll try every other day... but I think I will end up back at a spray a day! ;) It really works for us! And since its 100% natural and none of the ingredients are harmful in any way.... I'm not worried about over using it. |
so if i were to use the spray everyday, do i still need the gel????? |
