I just bought the Happy Trails in pink for my 2 girls and they did great the first and only time I had them out in it, but I have a question. Have any of you figured out a way to secure the dogs inside so that the screen can be unzipped but they can't jump out???? |

I leave it unzipped and both dogs have harnesses and leashes on so i just hold on to their leashes so they can't jump out. They really don't try to jump out but as a precaution. I do wish they had put some type of leash pr harness attachment in it. |
I was surprised when I received mine that there was no strap to attach a harness to. I am trying to figure out if I can have this done someplace. I need to walk the yellow pages for carriage repairs. |
UPDATE: I got the Outward Hound stroller in tonight and I put it together and I LOVEEEEEEE IT!!! I tested Bailey in it in our home and at first he wasn't too sure but then he just politely sat in it just looking LOL I think he will do so good whenever I take him for a stroll tomorrow CAN'T WAIT LOL I am definetly going to keep it and depending on how big Bailey gets and by what the chart says between 4.5 and 5 lbs maybe I could fit Blaire in it too (but now I'm not too sure if we are going to get her as soon as we thought...long story but we will indeed get another yorkie in the near future) but maybe they both could fit, don't know just yet.........but Bailey sure will be rolling for now!! I will post pics later!! :D P.S.: This stroller in my opinion is just the right size I was looking for because I didn't want it to be big and bulky and I didn't want to attract more attention on ourselfs than we might already cause.....So I definetly recommend this stroller for anyone with 1 or perhaps 2 small yorkies! |
My Husband put cable ties through the fabric in the back in a loop that the harness and small leash attachment to the loop. Hopes this makes sense to you. |
I think I know what you mean. Did he just punch through the fabric? |
i know i was upset about no harness hook also |
What kind is your stroller?, Thanks, Edie |
I have the same stroller and I put 2 12-lb yorkies in it. They don't have a lot of wiggle room but if they are both tired walking at the same time they are ok to share the space. Usually both stand up in it or one stands and one lays. I found some leashes that are real short (20 inches) at the dollar store. They are the braided type. I loop one around each of the posts at the back and attach to the harnesses. It works pretty well. I was disappointed that it didn't have a hook in it too. |
