Last week, I ordered this "army jacket" from Teri at www.bowwowcouture.com - Oh my gosh, we love it!!!!

This is the BEST QUALITY harness, too! :thumbup: The velcro around the neck and chest is really thick and strong. It is made with really durable fabric, yet it's breathable. It works perfectly as a harness and it's SO DARN CUTE! :D

We took him hiking to the top of Mt. Pisgah the other day and he was such a little trooper in his cute army harness! (We hiked 3 miles, and Sully did great the whole way!)


I just can't say enough great things about Teri at BowWowCouture! First, she emailed me to get Sully's measurements so that his vest fits perfectly! Also, she emailed me shipping confirmation. She was there every step of the way to make sure my order was perfect and that I was 100% satisfied! In fact, every time I emailed her, she responded almost immediately!

Sure to say - I've made a new friend in Teri and Sully now has his favorite clothing item! Hehe! Isn't he so darn cute in it!?!!!!! :love:

Those are awesome pictures! Weren't you afraid he'd jump off that ledge though :eek: The background scenery is beauriful! Where were they taken? Sully is so cute in his new vest!

These photos were taken on the hiking trail to the top of Mount Pisgah, a few miles south of Asheville, N.C. off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was an excellent hike! (And the views! Amazing!)

Is the velcro strong enough? Just thought I would ask, as my Yorkie is curious about everything and would frequently pull on the leash. I want to be able to pull him to safety...and was wondering if the velcro was strong enough to support his body weight if I had to pull my Yorkie into my arms.

To be honest, the vest I received is tons better than the one shown on her site, I think!!! I was VERY extra-impressed (and I'm picky!)

The velcro strips are really strong and thick...they REALLY hold well. Sully, for being such a little guy, really does pull on the leash. This vest STAYS on! And I am 100% positive that if you weren't satisfied you could send it back to her. That's how nice she is at bowwowcouture.com. But I can't even imagine you not being thrilled with it. It's better quality than many of MY clothes even. It's funny, but true! LOL!

I've been to Ashville, honeymooned at the Grove Park, and the blue ridge parkway, but have never been to Mt. Pisgah. It's beautiful!

Mount Pisgah was really only a 3 mi. hike, round trip. It got steep at times. I'm slightly out of shape and was feeling quite wobbly when we finished the hike, haha! But it was beautiful and the weather was perfect! You should check it out. Blue Ridge Parkway Mile marker 406.7, I think!

It's such a small world! Next time we're down that way, we should have a puppy play date, wouldn't that be fun? LOL.

I had better start working out!!! I'd NEVER make that 3 mile hike :D I could stand on the side lines though and take yours and Sully's pictures!!! :) you'd have to carry me out of there! Just kidding! I'd love to have a play date with you and little Sully! I was down there in that area about a month ago shopping! I hate to over do it but thank you again for making my avatar! You've done QUITE A FEW and I appreciate the time you took! And you are sooooo modest :) What would we do without ya!!! I love it!!!
