I think some airline have certain restriction on crate. You may want to check which one are approved by the airline first. |
Take him on board At that size you could probaly carry him/her in the cabin with you in a soft carrier, they allow that for very small dogs becuase 1. You can hold them, 2. They don't usually regulate their temperature as well, and they need to be in a suitable temperatured area. It all depends on the airline. |
I have a carrier from Petote. It is really great and the small ones are airline approved. Go to petote.com. I have the one from Collection 3 called bounding Blossom. My pup does really well in it. |
http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...=1116349443979 I got mine from petsmart...only $20.00 and my Maximus is 2.4 lbs. and it has worked for him. A very small carrier Quote:
carriers that work really well with small dogs: The flower carrier and the Juicy Couture Carrier. I have both; my Daisy is 2.25 lbs. at 7 months and she does very well in it. You can get both of them on my site: www.YorkieCouture.com . If you put in the notes field that you have a new baby, I will give you a free Add-A Charm Collar + charm with any $100+ order. Congratulations again! :aimeeyork |
