Cowboy Magic Recently I bought a tube of Cowboy Magic but I didn't try it until today and I have to say...this stuff is great! I bathed the boyz, let them run a little while and then I put about a dime sized drop in my hands and massaged it in to their hair. I dried them and brushed them and they look wonderful...even Jo's hair is under control and it usually has a mind of it's own even though it's silk. Jo and Riley both are so soft and shiny and the stringies haven't attacked yet! For those of you who haven't tried it I would have to recommend you do sometime...it will be a regular part of our grooming routine from now on. |
That's great! I ordered some and can't wait to use it. Do you have any pictures to share?:) |
CM is the best!! I've been using it for a while now and I must say I can never go without CM on hand. |

Great! Can't wait to see pictures. |
After seeing all the great reviews here, I got some too. It certainly made grooming easier each night! Venus gets matted real bad. I also keep some in a sprayer, mixed 50/50 with water too, that helps me when I'm trying to get mats out. Stuff works miracles for her. |
I use the PetSilk products, but wanted to try the Cowboy Magic too. Off to Pet Smart I went and just couldn't wait to buy some and....they told me they no longer carry it. I don't know of any other places around here that would sell it, so I'll have to order some on-line. :) |

Any store that carries horse products usually has it. I just got some Blow Dry Cream from plush Puppy, I'm going to try that. |

You can buy it where they sell horse products. I bought some a few weeks ago...maybe it's because Lillie doesn't like being brushed but I still had a difficult time getting the matts out..but again she wiggles so much it's hard to brush her..she bites the brush and just won't sit still. She is only 5 months old though so hopefully she will get easier to brush as she gets older.. |

hmmm! maybe this is something I should check into...Sadie just lets me brush her but she is an adult...she has a silky coat which NEVER matts...AT ALL!! Lillie on the other hand has a thicker coat which matts easily... Thanks for the suggestion! |
You're in farm country too...do you have a Farm & Fleet or Tractor Supply Store near you? I got mine at farm & Fleet in the pet section. Quote:

2 Attachment(s) O.k...here are a couple pictures. Of course they weren't cooperative enough to get them together since they're in super play mode this time of night so I had to get them seperately. I didn't go for cutsie I just wanted to show how shiny they are...and of course mr. fluffy butt Jo had to run away when I grabbed the camera sooo..... |
They look great! Thanks for sharing pictures.  |

Yes!!! We do have a Farm & Fleet in Lafayette. I'll being trying there for sure. I'll have to check what other Stores are like that too and see what they have. Thanks!!!! |
Does anyone have any pictures of a puffy coat with this product before and after? |
Here is a link for CM. We buy alot of horse items and this company is great! |
ooopppss the link didn't post...let's try again http://www.statelinetack.com/global/...magic&N=156695 |
Following this thread went to our local Stock Shop and purchased the Cowboy Magic concentrated rosewater conditioner with demineralizer and detangler. Can someone give me their thoughts on it. Seem's there's quite a line of different CM products $9.95 for a 32oz bottle, felt that was a fair price:thumbup: ,course its probably close to a 2year supply with just the two little ones lol |

If you have trouble finding Cowboy Magic, go to a beauty salon and buy BioSilk. I have both and the ONLY difference in the ingredients is that CM has Trymethocone Acetate and BioSilk doesnt. I have used BioSilk on my hair for YEARS and I think I am switching to CM b/c I like the smell of it better! (or maybe bc its new? lol) |
great product I decided to try Cowboy Magic detangler last month after Hailey had gotten a really bad case of matting! (sorry no pics!). I don't know how i could have gotten rid of all of those matts without the help of Cowboy Magic. So after reading all of the posts here about Cowboy Magic on Y.T. i went on line and found out that it was sold in most of the many tack shops here in Virginia. |
