ATTN Talented YT'rs...Someone needed to make BOOTIES okay, so I've seen several threads on here about the best kind of boots for yorkies, and each time I think about it I begin a search online. But, of course, THE EXPERT on what makes a great yorkie boot (for snow) has gotta be AlaskaYorkie. Right??? So, here is what he has had to say about the perfect boot: "I prefer a simple, rectangular sack that looks like a tiny sleeping bag. Some kind of water resistant material on the outside and fleece on the inside. But it's hard to find 'em like that." (that's in his thread about Eddie and the moose) One of you many talented members who make all those great clothes should be able to figure out how to make these! I bet you'd be filled with orders. Jus check out how many people are commenting on getting boots throughout this site. Oh yeah, and if anyone decides to do this, I think you should consider sending complimentary pairs to Mike (AlaskaYorkie), a few pics of Eddie and Jack running around in your boots would be a hit!!!! Hope I didn't step on your toes, AlaskaYorkie....your guys are the cutest boot models around! |
I would think that..... if you cut the fingers out of some thermal gloves and attach a velcro strap to hold them on..... it just might work.... I bet some of the second hand clothing stores would have BUNCHES of gloves..... |
