where to find shirts?
 
where can i find shirts and collars that will fit buttercup? i bought multiple shirts at target, petsmart, etc in xs sizes and he still doesn't fit it because it's too big, even after i wash and try to shrink it. he is 8 and a half months old and weighs about 3.5lbs

No Collars. Use harnesses. You could try getting a cat harness. I'd be happy to make you some harnesses and harness vests.

did you try tinkerbells closet or go fetch. they are both members here and there stuff is made to order.

I make silk step-in harnesses. If you provide an accurate chest measurement I guarantee that I can fit your little one. My silk harnesses are $12.50 for plain silk and $17.50 for silk with Swarovski Crystals. Matching leads are also available. Currently I have 25 colors available. Kristins Kreations from here makes teeny tiny harness vests and will custom fit for you. They are AWESOME and she is FAST.:thumbup:
If you are looking for T-Shirts I would suggest BarkinDogClothes. They have TINY sizes and are FAST shipping. Yo can also custom order from there if you need a size not listed.

I have had good luck fitting Gracie in a Puppia harness, size XS (max is about 3.5 lbs), and Gooby T-Shirts (size S). The Gooby's have D-rings sewn onto them so you don't need a harness. You can do a search online for the Puppia and Gooby brands. I have found a T-Shirt and Sweater at PetCo that fit Gracie when she was 3.5 lbs. I sewed D-rings onto them and it works out great for us. I have limited my purchases of the custom-made things until Gracie has stopped growing.

Bunni is 2.5lb-3lbs and I found shirts at Walmart, the XXS fit her perfect when her fur's cut short. Target's stuff is always big and I never find anything there. Every once in a while you can find a little dog t-shirt at Claire's (the teen jewelry store) I also found a polo shirt for Bunni at Meijer once that fits her perfect. Its one of those things that when you are at a store, look and see if they have anything small enough and if they do, snatch it up! They're hard to come by at stores and when there are ones that small enough all of us Teeny Yorkie Owners grab em all up!

Claires actually has LOTS of tiny stuff right now, even costumes. I found they are the only store I can buy "ready to fit" clothes for Hope from... Old NAvy carries the tiny things but they say they go so fast its hard to find the little ones.

Oooo I'll have to go to Claires! I wanted to get Bunni a costume but all I could find was a t-shirt from Walmart that says Boo! I must miss the stuff at Old Navy, or maybe the xxsmalls are just still too big for bunni. She's 3lbs but she's really tiny.

I have shirts and dresses in tiny sizes! I also have small collars if you wanted to use one for the id tag only. Stump wears his but we don't use it for walking.

Also until Monday is the Columbus Day sale.. use the voucher "columbus" for 25% off if you see anything you like!

how do you sew in d rings?? i have a couple shirts that i would like to do this to for Harley...:aimeeyork
