sweater pattern 2 Attachment(s) Here is the a sweater that I made yesterday. I used one of the patterns that was posted. We will be going to Ohio in Nov. and we need some sweaters for that cold air that they are not used to being in. so I have been busy crocheting for a new grandbaby that will be here and these 4 furbabies. ;) as always I have changed the pattern a little bit. I didn't like the fact that it had buttons on it.(I don't want her to chew it off and get choked). Therefore I have added a couple of tabs for velcro. this is an easy pattern to follow so some of you beginners to crocheting can make it too. hope you like it. |
Love the sweater very cute! |
wow that sweater is sooo nice! |
OMG! Great job. I love it. That is really cute. I like that you don't have to put it on over there head like most sweaters. To bad I can't crochet. |
WOW! Your sweaters are beautiful! What a talented craftsperson you are! Can you tell me how much you will be selling them for? I would like to get an order in before the rush! Can you do one in that fancy fuzzy type yarn? |
Where was it posted and it is very cute are you going to be selling them? |

I made the other sweater that was posted at the same time. The one that looks like a t-shirt and jeans. That is an easy pattern too, and it turned out really cute! Haven't tried this one yet. My biggest problem was finding a belt buckle to fit. None of the local stores have small belt buckles. Wal-mart had some but they were very frilly/fancy and didn't look like they would go with jeans. I finally dug out an old purse that had just the right size buckle on it. Glad I hadn't gotten around to throwing it away! Sometimes my habit of procrastinating turns out to be a good thing! And if you go to the geocities website, they have other patterns, too. |
you broke my heart! Quote:
Well, I am really pissed :D! (just joking):D How could you post a pic of such a beautiful work of art and keep it all to yourself! If you ever find it in your heart to make some to sell, please keep me near the top of the list. I really really love the sweaters! |

I like velcro. does the belt buckle work ok? also check out this site. it has loads of sewing, crochet & knit patterns and some of them are way too cute. I have made several of the pattern. they even have patterns for toys. I love this site. http://www.angelfire.com/mi4/cinnami...eycorner1.html |
That sweater is just adorable! |
That sweater is sooo cute! I've knitted a few sweaters for my baby but I haven't done any crochet for at least ten years... I think I have to start again though! |
regarding sweater pattern Oh I love this pattern! Thank you for sharing it. I was trying one on my own and not liking the way it looked, lol...I don't even have a furbaby to call my own yet, lol...:D But it's never to early to perpare I guess. We are in the middle of an addition anyway and I wouldn't want him/her to get hurt. I also have 4 smaller children yet and I so want a yorkie!!! I have come to terms my human children are growing, lol...and the older ones don't like me to dress them anymore. I know many breeders don't want to sell to people with smaller kids and I totally understand that. I had never thought of some of the things that were explained to me. Although I have to say my kids are really good. We have dog sat for my mom when she was unable to take her toy poodle with her for 2 weeks. She is a small dog also and the kids just adore her. She adores the kids just as much, lol...I'm grateful to have had someone tell me about this group and am learning so much about Yorkies. I find myself loving this breed even more, lol...so if it means we need to wait then we will just have to do that. Thanks for all the wonderful information you all share. I don't post much but I do love to read and learn! You must excuse me I do get long winded at times, lol...I like to blame it on the fact I'm a stay at home mom and it's tough to meet people, lol... Nice chatting with you and looking forward to getting to know you! XOXOXOXO Michele |
