Dog.com I'm very disappointed with dog.com. I order this very fun ball that giggles and makes noise as the dogs play with it. Not 10 minutes after my dogs started playing with it, it would no longer make noise. I called the company to complain and ask them to send me a new one. The manager said they have no guarantee on the toys and "sorry." The person I spoke with said, "We can't control how rough some dogs are with the toys." I'm sorry, but my 2 less than 3 pound yorkies should not be able to ruin a toy that quickly. They can't even get their mouths around it. They were just hitting it back and forth. Sorry about the rant but that frustrated me! :thumbdown |
I would be mad too.....I have not ordered through them before but thanks for letting us know...I will never order from them Sucks that they can't even send you a new one. |
Thanks for the heads up- that's pretty bad customer service! |
ball wow the price to replace that one ball would have been worth it because they don't realize the bad publicity they are getting now!! Some companies just don't get it!! I would have given you another ball and then quit selling that particular item since it isn't something that would hold up especially to a tiny yorkie!!! ttysoon Melinda, Sassy and Simba |
you know, its like they say.....once you have been given bad service, the word will spread. it is going to spread like wildfire here at yorkie talk. |
I've actually read bad reviews about that toy you bought. Things like pieces breaking off and dogs choking, etc... Still, the company could have been more helpful. I have purchased things from them several times and have never been disappointed... guess it just depends. I just got another order from them the other day with liver treats and a pair of shears. Shipping was pretty quick and I'm happy with the products. Sorry, you didn't have the same good experience! omega |
Thanks for the head's up. I have been tempted to order from them, but I will shop elsewhere. This day and time $$ is too hard to come by to shop with vendors who do not stand behind their products.:D |
I won't order from Dog.com because I requested a catolog 3mos ago and have never received one. I called the company and they said they sent one out to me and unless I order from it they wouldn't send out another one. I was so mad that I refuse to buy any thing from them. They told me to just order online. I told them I perfered to order out of a catalog. Oh well, there are plenty of other companies that are more helpful. Sorry for your bad experience with them. :aimeeyork |
I used to order from dog.com ALL the time! I think they're pretty good BUT I once ordered a wiggle ball form amazon and the same ting happened. After playing with it for five mintues, the ball stopped wiggling! I did find out that it was the battery. Did you try changing the battery? |

Dog.com does suck! i order new bowls almost 2 weeks ago and still have no recieved them!! |
I don't like dog .com either. I ordered from them once, tht was the first and last time I did it. the customer service was so crappy. My items took 2 weeks to get home. I called customer service 3 times, was on hold like 40 minutes each time until I gave up. emailed them and told them the lakc of customer service skills they had. :thumbdown |
I have never ordered from them and after reading this I never will. |

Wow, that sure is such a waste of money and time . . .I never buy at a store who does not provide a 100% money back guarantee . . .so I always make sure to check their return policies. |
