I have put zippers in some of mine they were never a problem
Do you have any pictures of your bag? I'm not much of a sewer but if any sewers out there could make a bag like this I would be SO thrilled!

I HAVE that exact carrier in tan. It's fantastic. Just like you, I wanted something that I could just throw Oscar in and go (not literally :) ). There is very little risk of a dog jumping or falling out, and it still has the small leash attachment to clip to their harness. It's just a basic bag, no pockets, zippers, etc. to deal with. I like it because it keeps Oscar closer to my body and I just put it across my shoulder so it's completely hands free. It doesn't have a solid floor on it though, the bag literally forms a pouch around the dog - doesn't bother Oscar though, he still pokes his head out and can see just fine. We go for trips to the mall with this bag and people still don't even notice him - until they see his little head move.
The bag gets my vote :thumbup: :thumbup:

Oh Yay! Someone who has one! Do you have the small or large and how big is Oscar? Will you pretty please post a picture?

Oscar is 3lbs and I have the size small - it's a little bigger than I was hoping, but it works find just the same. Because there's no real structure to it, the bag just hugs your side and your puppy.

The downside to this bag is that it does not have any pockets whatsoever - like you, I think it would be convenient to have a couple small pockets for cell phone, wallet, keys etc. to eliminate the need to carry multiple bags. I usually just toss this stuff in the bag with Oscar and he sits on it. :)

That is great news! Sugar is also 3 lbs and i was worried if the small was big enough (worried about height mostly). I'm hoping someone can make one with pockets but if not I'm ordering! Thanks so much for the information!:)

Chloe is right under 3 lbs but her back alone is 10 inches long so I like carriers that our wider so she isnt cramped.

I agree the bag being large enough so they aren't cramped. I put a firm piece in the bottom of my bags. I preferr a firm bottom for Baby Blessing. It is a piece that can come out, I cover it with a little padding so its softer. I think a zipper closeure is nice, one don't have to use it but we have had times when it came in handy, the pockets really come in handy, one always to put treats in :) I usely put at least four pockets on mine with velcro to keep them closed.

You are so on to something!! The juicy bag is big and the strap kind of hurts my shoulder. I would really love this carrier. I would like it for when I run errands!! Thanks for the tip!!

I found the website I was talking about. The price of the carrier isn't cheaper, still $88, but shipping is about half. Anyway, it's directly from the manufacturer, www.wagwear.com. They have the black one. I'm thinking about getting the camo one.
