They are pretty cheap ... that's why I am nervous. I HATE fakes -- I am a true name brand snob! LOL! I'll just end up buying one from Neiman Marcus.

That's the exact one I have. I really love it and it does seem to be very good quality. I am (like many of you) a handbag junky and I have several Kate Spades and Coaches and my newest, a really cute, funky, lime green Cynthia Rowley, so I do know what a good quality bag should look like. I think this is the real thing, really, really hope it is but I know what you mean about the price... It does make you wonder.

Why don't you get one from Glamour Dog? Are they cheaper? I am pretty sure those are authentic too. For some reason, the variety at Neiman Marcus isn't the best

Yes they are real ... Glamour Dog is a Juicy Couture seller (Juciy has them listed on their website).

I just had a thought about the ebay shop I posted and why they might be able to sell authentic bags at such low prices. It seems like all of her bags are not current styles. They aren't on the Juicy site at all. They are on pamperedpuppy but that takes you to glamourdog and the bags aren't there any more. Maybe they are a style that is a few years old. I would think that would make a difference.

I dont want to upset you but I am pretty sure those are not real and let me tell you why. How is it possible for her to sell them for half of what everyone else is selling them for? If that Ebay seller is actually getting her bags from Juicy couture, I guarantee she had to sign a contract stating that she would not sell on ebay AND that you CAN NOT sell under the MSRP. So I doubt they are real. HUge designers like Juicy Couture will not let thier retailers sell on ebay and sell under their MSRP because it lowers the value of thier products.

Their are lots and I mean LOTS of over seas manufacturers that make Juicy replica bags and they look GOOD, they have the charms, the tags, the lining fabric, leather trim... EVERYTHING! And they sell them to retailers for about $30-$50 and it is my bet that this is what this seller is selling.

I have actually contacted Juicy becasue of a huge debate on a chi forum I was on. I also have spoke to them in the past because I was interested in someday carrying thier products so I spoke with them about some of the criteria. I know for a fact that juicy only let companies that have a brick-and mortor stores carry thier products, they do not sell to strictly online retailers. Which is why I am not eligible right now :(, bUt maybe someday. BUt anyways that is one thing to look for when you are looking at these companies that claim to sell authentics.


IMO the only way to get an authentic bag on ebay is if someone bought it from Neiman marcus(or some other official Juicy retailer) and they no longer want it. If anyone is ever selling a bunch of them, that would be a big no-no in my book.

Sorry guys if I seem so pessimistic. I just used to be a HUGE ebay shopper and like I said before I used to be addicted to buying AUTHENTIC coach bags. Through trial and error I've really figured out what to look for with these ebay sellers, feedback and all that good stuff on ebay. Ive done lots of research and stuff like that. :)

Im not an expert on spotting fakes but I feel I am really good at knowing seller behavior if that makes any sense.

I just want to make sure you dont fall for any of the same stuff I fell for:rolleyes:

:) Sounds very reasonable Shana, especially since she has so many for sale. I'm still happy with mine, hollywoodyorkie said she bought them at Nieman Marcus. The one thing I found frustrating about Juicy bags is that it's hard to determine what size to buy. Different retailers seem to post different recommended size dogs ( up to 8 lbs, up to 12 lbs., under 4.5 lbs, etc.) for the same bags. Oh well, I think mine will do well for Gypsy since she'll never be in it for any long period of time where I can't take her out if she gets upset or annoyed. I've really appreciated all the input from everybody. :)

Oh well as we all know and I forgot, if it sounds too good to be true... You have a really cute pink one on your site that I've had my eye on. Now, how to justify this to hubby?:rolleyes:

Like I said, Im no expert at spotting fakes so your bag very well could be real ;) So please dont get upset.

I just think the seller is questionable thats all :)

Hi Shana, just out of curiosity I emailed the lady on ebay who offers so many Juicy bags (all for $98) and asked her how she could do it. I told her I wasn't trying to be rude but I was really curious because they were so expensive everywhere else. She answered and said that "she purchased from a wholesaler, some were closeouts and some were seconds"? What do you think? Think they might be authentic? :)

First of all, Juicy does not sell to wholesalers and secondly, they do not have seconds. Very rarely Juicy stuff goes on sale and it is usually at Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, or some websites that are listed on the Juicy site as selling authentic Juicy merchandise.

Dont believe it. I've always been told there are no such things as seconds. Ive reserached this many a times on the internet and thats what everythign tells me at least thats the case for coach bags. Seconds are just a way for people to sell replicas and really get away with it.

And as for getting the bag from "wholesalers" she probobly means manufacturers of fake bags from asia. Retailers of Juicy Couture I gurantee you would have to sign contracts and would not be allowed to wholesale out Juicy's products. Big name companies are very strict on Who and Where thier products get sold. Very strict. The only company that could offer legit Juicy products for wholesale would be Juicy Couture themselves. Thats just usually how it works. They wouldnt let thier retailers wholesale out thier products as it would deplete the value of them.

The person sellign those bags on ebay can get into a lot of trouble. Ebay doesnt allow for anyone to sell seconds or replicas.

Currently, there are tons of people claiming to be selling authentic bags when in fact they are knock-offs or fakes. I actually do some work for eBay helping them to identify these sellers. You will notice that in the next month or so, eBay will be cracking down on this. It is a serious issue and something needs to be done. I feel bad for the innocent people who think they are getting a real designer bag when it's just a cheap replica.

Thanks for the replies. I feel really bad for anyone who buys one of these bags off ebay. There was one seller whose bags were just awful and yet they claimed they were authentic. I tried to report it on ebay but for some reason it kept coming up and saying that the item # was wrong. I triple checked and it was the # on the page for that item, must have been some kind of glitch. For those people who just want a good quality bag even if it's a copy some of the bags would probably be OK but I would hate to find out something I bought wasn't authentic. I'll be glad to see ebay crack down on it. :)

Ok- I, too, have been searching for a Juicy carrier. I love having REAL products, but as far as this goes.. I can live with a fake as long as it isn't built cheap. Here's MY problem..

My Maggie is about 5 or 5.5 pounds...not entirely big. However, when she stretches out on my bed she measures (including tail and head.. obviously) about 15 inches in length. I don't want the HUGE juicy carrier, but I also don't want her to be uncomfortable. Most of the ones I see online are 12.5 in Length. I'm sure she could sit easily in that, but wouldn't that be uncomfortable for her not to be able to stretch out?

Those of you that have Juicy carriers, could you please lend your suggestions? How long is your baby.. and what size carrier do you have? I would really appreciate it.

I think she is too big to be comfortable in it for long periods of time. She is close in size to my Gus. I bought one thinking it would work but I hardly ever use it because it's too small. When I do use it, it's for very short periods of time (10 - 15 minutes). He just fits in it, hardly any room to move. Bummer, huh?

Yeah- I agree. Sugar is 3 lbs and fits pretty well in his Juicy, but not a whole lot of room to spare. I wouldn't think it would work well for much more than 4 lbs. There are so many cute carriers out there though and you'll find the perfect one eventually.:)

I just got for Luna the medium size carrier, the one that measures 15 inches long, and is perfect for her, she is not cramped in there, and still has a comfy size to carry around... It is much better than the small size (the 13 inch long). Luna is 4 pounds.

Why are all those ebay listings now saying Seller ended Item Early Because Of An Error in the Listing?? If it is because someone reported them as fake- couldn't you cancel your order if you didn't believe it was real??

weeellllll, I bid low on a (most likely) fake one...thinking i would be outbid. Yeah- I won it.. and it's the regular size one. I'm sure it'll be too small, but we'll see. If it is, I might have one to sell! haha
