New Beds 2 Attachment(s) Not that Sissy needs anything at all - but she just got two new beds (one for upstairs, one for downstairs. They are both really cute - so I wanted to share. The first pod-like bed is from Target. The 2nd dog house is from DinesBoutique.com. The dog house is because when she sleeps in the downstairs bathroom, the room gets very cold (the vent is closed) with the air conditioning on, so this will help to protect her further!!! |

1 Attachment(s) Unfortunately Baby doesn't care too much for the beds anymore! :( I have her pink bed next to me by the computer, and she lies on the carpet! I also bought her a beautiful doghouse that I keep inside. I think she went in it twice for about 5 seconds! :( Oh, and do you see the cute little pink bed inside the house? Well I forgot to tell you, she chews apart fuzzy beds too! I had to throw that out. |

New Beds How do you get your dogs to go into their beds to relax? I can not get Scooby (my cockapoo) OR Scrappy (my Yorkie) to sleep in their beds. I'm wondering if I put a treat there maybe they will learn it's a safe comfy place? Any ideas? |
Beds at BigLots Just an FYI, at my local Big Lots store, they have really cute beds at cheap prices. They even have a "brass headboard and footboard bed with a matress for like $29! Really cute, but my scrappy would not stay in it. |
I don't do anything special. In the downstairs bathroom, she has both her bed and a crate (always open) with a fluffy pad in it. She occasionally will play in her crate, but she always sleeps in her bed. I don't know if it is because the floor down there is tile and cold and she likes to be warm and cuddled. Upstairs, there is her bed, a few blankets, a small sofa, and carpet. If the sun is streaming through the window, she will lay in the sun spot. Otherwise, when she wants to sleep and is not on my lap, she just curls up in her bed. |
Louie won't go in his bed. If it's on the linoleum next to the computer he lays on the floor, if it's on the carpet in the living room he'll lay on the carpet. Heck, the cat likes it better than him. Maybe he just doesn't like it, beats me!:rolleyes: |
1 Attachment(s) Those beds are soo cute! I'm not sure if pita would go in the cavelike one but they are nice. Here's Pita in her 15 dollar bed, I got it from collectionsetc.com but they don't carry them any more. She loves it, it is right by the window so she looks out at the cats on the porch and she goes nuts! |
