CC combs I have a Chris Christensen brush for my dog, but am wondering about their butter combs. Has anyone tried one? Does it work better than a regular comb? Thanks, omega:) |
Anyone????????????????????? |
Yes I have one and it works wonderfully! It is honestly the best purchase I have made for Cole. Not to mention that he loves it. Highly recommended. :) |
I will be interested to hear what other people say about this too. I just bought the brush and am very impressed and want to buy the comb when I can. |
what do you like about the comb so much, if i may ask? how is it different from others? i love the brush and am thinking of getting a comb, but want to hear more about it. do you have the handle too, or just the comb? thanks, omega |
Which brush do ya'll have? Is there more than one kind? Sorry, haven't looked at the website yet..... just thought I'd ask so I know what to look at when I go to the site. AND which site has the best prices on the brush(es) and combs?? |
Okay, I just went and looked real quick and there are so many different kinds. I remember a discussion a long time ago about which kind of brush was better and I thought the agreement was for a Yorkie, it would be the pin brush. Is that still correct? Which one do I get? |
I sent them an e-mail before I finally decided to buy one asking the difference in the regular pin brush and the gold seried. they responded saying the gold series was more for delicate coats. the pins "give" easier making it less likely to damage the coat. the difference in the number that is attached to the name of the brush is the pin length. I measured the pins in the brush I had been using and it was the same as the 20 MM gold series. that is the one i bought. I pondered for a long long time trying to justify the cost of that brush. I am really glad that I bought it. thanks to the reviews on this forum I was talked into it. another thing about those brushes is that when i brush them they are getting more of a massage than a skin scraping. I am trying now to justify paying for the comb. LOL |

The people at CC are very nice. I just bought a brush (should actually get it today) and emailed them several times and even sent them a picture of Sadie so they knew what her hair looked like before I bought it. THey were very helpful and let me know exactly what I need. I want to see how the brush is & then might get the comb later. |
I have the 20mm gold series brush. My cats love it too! I don't actually use a comb that much on Tinka - almost always just a brush. How often does anyone else use a comb and when? omega |
