CC Systems or Petsilk
 

I've been going through the posts, trying to figure out what kind of shampoo and conditioner I should get my Yorkie. I've read a lot of good things about CC systems, but I've also read bad things about them, like coats getting dryer or greasier. So now I'm really confused! :confused: Just wanted to know if anyone's tried both products and which worked better for them.

I have used CC systems and loved it at first, now not so much. I recently purchased the PetSilk moisturiizng shampoo/conditioner, leave in conditioner and coat oil. So far I have used the leave in and the coat oil and LOVE IT!!! Bisciut tangles REALLY bad and they combed right out. And it smells GREAT! Mine came from www.mjm-petsilk.com and I had it coast to coast in 4 business days with their standard shipping. Customer service was wonderful!!

I think it really depends.

for all three of my dogs, I've used CC products (shampoo's, conditioners, and brushes).. and i've had amazing results with them.

I have heard some people that have used them it didn't work so well.. i think it could be either, using too much of a product could make a coat greasier.

I have recommended CC products to close friends who have shih tzu's and they have fallen in love with CC products.

So I think it just depends on how you use it, what products you use together and the dogs coat. :)

but either CC or Petsilk, you cannot go wrong! :D

I just recently bought both and I don't really know which I like better yet but I know they both are good quality shampoo. I can just tell you that Petsilk products smells last longer than CC system day to day. Day to Day scent seems to disapear by the 2-3day... It also seems like the Petsilk conditioner is more concentrated and feels nice. I will have to use it more to decide which I like better etc..also one of my babes hair is cottony the other is silky..so that will make a difference too. P.s CC system does have a trial size for 10$ but at their site shipping is $7! I recently saw on Yt a cheaper website for their products..can't remember what it said though, but you can do a search I bet.

Thanks for your input! It was really helpful. :) Let me know which you prefer! I will probably try out Petsilk first. Too many mixed reviews for CC systems, and I'm afraid of paying for something that I won't like.

I also base alot of the dog shampoo's on smell because one: I love scents and 2: if I can't stand it then I won't use it..duh huh..
So when researching these 2 I couldn't find anything on what they smelled like so here is my 2 cents(scents-heehee)
CC system day to day shampoo -like coconut, like the Nexuss humectress.
CC day to day conditioner-similar but more fruity. I don't know why they don't make it the same? I like the smell but doesn't last.
PetSilk conditioner and (shampoo) original- smells like Biosilk for people. Which I have the shine serum so I know it smell just the same..I wonder if they are the same co? Nahhh??
I have the Mango Shampoo-smells fruity mango pineapple. I wanted to make sure the smell was strong enough to last...but I think the original smell is just as strong so it will last a week. Yeah. Hope this helped!:D Oh, I don't think you can really go wrong with Petsilk also what kind of hair does your furbaby have? You have to be careful how much of that really concentrated conditoner you use on a cottony coat baby cuz I put sooo much in, not thinking to much on it and afterwards her hair looked dull and gross. I did put the conditioner with water for my silky haired one and it was great.

Smells are really important to me too... they have to be nice and long-lasting. Sounds like Petsilk will suit my needs. :) My yorkie should have silky hair. That's what my breeder says, and I trust them.

Where did you get the mango shampoo? I love fruity scents!

PetSilk offers the original silk moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and a new line of shampoos called "cool dog" any how they have the mango shampoo, rainforrest, keylime?, etc.. I got the mango shampoo and the original moisturizing silk conditioner. They go good together. Good luck!:p
