Whose Yorkie wears shoes? I just bought my girls some shoes yesterday and Ruby seems to not mind them but Bella's going to take some time getting use to them. I think the shoe idea is great for the winter to protect their feet from snow/salt but I have also heard that shoes are great for the summer to protect their feet from the hot cement. How many of your Yorkies wear shoes and do they wear them year around? Also I read a thread where someones Yorkies have sensitive pads from not walking outside during the winter. Will regular use of shoes make my Yorkies feet more sensitive? |
I bought Toki some and he would not walk. He's a statue. |
i got bunjee a set of shoes... he walks like he's been riding in a saddle for hours. and when he runs, he ends up kicking off his shoes. |
"Grandma" got us a set of the cutest shearling boots for Christmas - Chewie runs around like a horse in them, and needs to be BRIBED to get across the room in them. We tried them out on another Yorkie we know - and she stood like a statue - NOTHING could make her budge :) So, boots weren't part of our winter apparel lineup here in CT! :animal-pa Chewie and Christina |
My beloved Blake used to where them in very hot weather! |
1 Attachment(s) I put shoes on Baby when there was snow on the ground. It was sooooooooooooooooo funny to watch her walk in them. She galloped around! :p |
No, i think they look cute but I dont think Pippa would like it, she would prob try and chew them off. |
I think they are cute! I also think that if i had to put shoes on my babies, people around me will KNOW ive lost the plot! LOL... they see me with all the carriers/stroller & clothes.... now all they need is shoes!! They are already telling me that i should adopt a little human girl  |
Bailey my havanese has super sensitive paws; during hot weather he wears shoes, sandals, and boots. |
romeo kicks or chews them off. i'd like to find a cute summer pair though. i worry his little foot pads are burning up on the sidewalk. |
