My Review for the CC Brushes I had just Ordered two brushes from CC (www.chrissystems.com) On the 4th And I immediately received my package Today (the 9th)! I was SO excited! Well It was also the dogs bath day today so I decided to test my new brushes out. I bought the Mark II Slicker. I used this for My Maltese who mats VERY easily, She has a cottony coat. It was able to fluffen up her coat and make it more manageable. I Also used this for My Yorkie/Pom Oreo because his hair isn't like a yorkie, but more like a Pom so i think this worked well with his hair. I did use this slicker on my Yorkie's Legs and paws. I heard though that if your planning to grow their coat, I wouldn't recommend a slicker brush. I think this slicker works perfect for Mats and short hair. I also purchased the 20 mm oblong brush for my Yorkie. I LOVE this brush! this brush has made her hair softer than MINE! I think these brushes are awesome, and would recommend these brushes if you are looking for a great brush. It's worth every penny! I do plan to get the buttercomb #006 soon for their face. These brushes in conjunction with the Day to Day Shampoo & Conditioner work very well together. SO I recommend these brushes 100% if you decide to get it i'm sure you will not be dissapointed! I love them! |
thanks !! I love CC products and am looking at their brushes...I just wrote them an email about chanels hair and hope they answer it. |
Was the 20mm oblong brush you purchased a slicker brush? I'm growing Muffins coat out and I don't know if I should be using a slicker or a boar brush. CC has so many to choose from I don't kow which one to pick! |

I heard that if your yorkie has a silky coat and it's long, the gold series brushes work wonders.. im not sure about cottony, because my yorkie has silky coat, but i bought the 20mm oblong brush and i'm very happy with it. my other two have a cottony coat and im going to be keeping their hair short, so i got the Mark II slicker brush. i think you can't go wrong with the oblong brushes, i love them :) |
Which CC brush/comb? I'm making a CC purchase today (day to day combo and ice on ice). I'd like to get a brush or comb but don't know what's best. Ruby has hair that's about 2-3 inches long, and it's matting a lot. Is it best to get a buttercomb, pin brush, or slicker? Any suggestions? |
Well I just heard back from them about a Brush for Chanel and here is what they said... Dear Villette: I would recommend the 27mm Gold Series Pin Brush. and ....I wrote in my email she has long cottony hair...so I guess the Gold Series is good for Silk and Cottony hair.. |
Kathyrn, I am 35 minutes west of Palm Springs in Redlands. ? about the CC shampoos/conditioners: 2 Biewers very silky coats; more white than black. Which system should I get? Which combs and brushes? (My yorkie Dayzee has a very thick puppy coat at 8 months and a regular slicker brush and rake work well on her.) |
