tear stains...... I have 6 furbabies and 5 are yorkies and one is a maltese. And I have to say.... each dog is different..... Most of my yorkies don't have problems with tear stains but one of my girls is soooooooo bad. I've tried everything and I've even spoken to the vet about it. It get crusty and leaves her raw.... and even when I clean it everyday... it does not matter..... so I'm thinking about flushing out her tear duct. As the vet says it might help but they will have to sedate her for this. Has anyone here done that before? By the way, I am new and I've enjoyed reading all your post! :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
what causes that crusty yucky build up in there eyes? I didnt even realize there was anything out there for that! Wow see how much I know LOL Can you get this eye envy at a pet store or do you have to order it online? |
LOVE the Eye Envy. I use the regular refrigerated liquid and the powder if really bad. |
i used it on my chi and it didnt work at all same with my silky |
You can check their website and see the locations that sell the Eye Envy. The places that sell it in FLorida are too far for me to drive and I would spend more than $15 in gas so I just rather pay the shipping that's much cheaper than that! lol Genie,Cookie & Lola www.eyeenvy.com I think that's their site... |
I have heard that a few drops of white vinegar in their water will help with the tear stains. I haven't tried it, though. Also, for really severe eye discharges, the vet can give an antibiotic for the water as well. I read that someplace...probably here! |
