Follow up for itchy Yorkie 12 yr old YORKIE has been itching for 10years. I think I tried everything, antibiotics, powders, sprays. She was losing the fur on her back and had to wear a tshirt all the time. Several months back I started her on Dermacton spray and she started getting better, so I ordered the shampoo. Her coat is all the way back to normal, no itching, flakes are now gone too. I am amazed and so happy that she is comfortable-finally! All testimonials on their website sound just like me! They are in the UK, I can't remember how I found them. Aromesse Natural Animal Healthcare Products for Dogs, Cats and Horses. I didn't make any dietary changes, she has been on hypoallergenic food for years. Jaya is the light of my life and I am so relieved to have found something to help her. Good luck to anyone else whose baby has this problem and I hope this might help others! |
That is incredible. I know your pup must be so much more comfortable after all this time. I know there are a lot of itchy Yorkies around here, including mine. She was not as bad this summer as she was in past summer's. I appreciate your sharing your story and letting us know about your good luck with the shampoo. I hope it will help others too. |
Oops, double post. |
They have a ton of products - which 2 are you using, specifically? Are you selling these products, btw? |
Itchy yorkie I'm using the Dermacton spray and Dermacton shampoo that is in a bar form. I only sound like I'm selling this! Just relieved she's better. When I saw her coat come back, I had to post. I get so much help from Yorkie Talk, I wanted to reciprocate. |
Thank you for sharing! My lil Toby is very itchy. Will look into this product! |
Would you mind letting me know what's in it? How long did it take to get it to you (I'm in the US, too). I have a poodle with severe allergies, we're about to rip up the carpet in the entire house and even set up a spot in the yard with no grass just for him. I hate seeing him miserable. Thank you! (now, to figure out how much in USD.......) lol |
Hi. I would really love it if this works for your poodle. It's so hard to see them scratching every minute. There is no ingredient list on my bottle, all they say is it's all natural. I definitely smell tea tree and some citrus. I received my order in about a week and I think they converted the currency for me when I used PayPal. Good luck! |

Looks like the soap and spray would be about $42... Thank you, Wylie's Mom! 4carolyn, I am looking forward to trying this. Bug is a special little guy to me and it kills me to see him suffer. On the bright side, my almost Yorkies seem healthy so far. Good thing, too, since it looks as if I'm getting rather fond of my little yorkiekids. :) |

Bug Please, please, let me know how Bug is after using Dermecton. Hopefully by this time next month he will be much better. |
Oh, wow. you guys are soooo sweet! I will let you know how my Bug-man does on this. I so very appreciate your kindness toward him (and me). I know he's not a Yorkie, but he is very special to me - he likes my Yorkies, though. Does that help? lol I've actually been so upset about him, I wondered if it won't have been better for him to have a better owner that can do right by him. I love him so much, this is killing me. I've never dealt with itchy dogs before. He has so many problems lately and I'm desperate for him. Thank you! |
Bug You are the best owner he could have! You have looked hard for something to help him and not given up. Best of luck. |
Thank you, 4carolyn, that means a lot. |
Thank you,I'll try this. My little Benjamin is itching all the time and nothing helps. Now he has a hot spot on his paw probably because of his itchiness and I have to put a cone on him,so he doesn't lick the ointment... but I'm afraid that he's going to lick his paw again after the wound heals. It's like a nightmare. |

Sophy1055, have you had his ears checked recently? One of my vets has noticed that dogs tend to give themselves lick granulomas on their paws when they have issues with their ears. I know it's weird, but she's right more often than wrong and has gotten many dogs to leave their paws alone after treating their ears. Little update on Bug. The spray and soap finally came in (it really wasn't a long wait, but since it was for Bug, it felt like forever lol). Since it was so cold that day, I just used the spray and bathed him the following day. Ok, I know it sounds weird, but oh! I love the way he looks and feels after his bath! Even his coat color looked better (he's black, but has stained/rusted his coat). He acts as if he feels better. He is still itching, but not as badly. I am finally feeling hopeful! Thank you so much for letting me know about this stuff. It smells odd, but is not unpleasant, I'm even starting to like the smell, I guess because I can see it helping him. :) |
