Should I bother to buy "Insiders Guide To A Happy, Healthy & Well Behaved Yorkshire Just wondering if it actually has any good material in it to make it worth spending $27.... Anyone out there who is familiar with the e-book please tell me what you think. |
I think you would be better off using the $27 to buy your yorkie something nice. A lot of the info in books like those can be found online or even on yorkietalk! :) |
Not familiar with that book, but I have several training books, and they are all pretty much the same. Do you want to commit the time it takes to train? That's the question you should ask, every day for about 10-15 minutes, 2 or 3 times a day. Once you have an understanding of EXACTLY how to train, you have to be willing to spend the time. People come here and say all the time, "I've tried everything", but the truth is that means you weren't consistent. You do the same thing over and over and over, and you might not see results for weeks or months. Here's a review of it. http://www.amazon.com/The-Yorkshire-...owViewpoints=1 I think that price is pretty steep for an e-book, you can buy a used book on amazon for $3.00 or even less. |
Here's one on ebay for only $4.00 with free shipping. Yorkshire Terrier Your Happy Healthy Pet 0764583859 | eBay |
consistency Problem with that is that while I am consistant, my boyfriend is not. He's so busy teaching her to roll over and do cute things that the serious training flies right past him, bless his heart. Ever since we lost Marley any kind of discipline I was going for has been set aside and we pretty much became soft. She's gotten a little better with potty training, and while I could possibly tether her to me to begin housebreak training her again, there's no way he's going to do that. So I try to be consistent, and he just consistently spoils her adorable ass. She's actually pretty good despite everything. |
