For Those With The Jaraden Soho...
 
How well cushioned are the shoulder/cross body strap? I have 2 carriers right now and am looking to get another because one carriers straps falls off my shoulders consistently and digs into them when it does stay in place. The carrier holds up to 8 lbs and Rasta is barely 2 so it shouldn't dig. The Soho seems like my best bet in terms of options but I would like to hear from those who have it. Thank you!!!!

Also, would like to add another question. How big is yorkie and how well does she/he fit into SoHo. I have close to 7lb yorkie with a long body, and I'm worried that she would not be comfortable in it.

you can use the strap of the soho as a cross body.

It's not cushioned. The shoulder straps are one layer of leather with another layer wrapped around it. The wide part of the cross body strap is just a layer of leather and a layer of velvet.
Keep in mind the bag itself is very heavy.

Janeno, IMO this bag isn't great for a dog over 4lbs. Lola is 7lbs and she just fits in it with her head out, she can't be closed in it. Also it's just too heavy when you combine the weight of the bag and the dog. If you search on here someone posted a lot of great pics of their dog in a silver soho bag.

I bought the snoozer kelsey bag recently and I like it a lot more. It's not nearly as pretty but it's much lighter and bigger.

Thank you for the recommendation. I like Snoozer kelsey but I am just worried that it's not completely discreet. I guess my search for a perfect carrier goes on.

I'm going to continue looking as well. Comfort and being discreet are my priority. Please let me know if you find anything

For me snoozer is, but your pup might slide around too much in it. You'd also have to be careful that he won't jump or fall out the hole if you have them open. Lola got overly excited and fell out once, so I keep my hand by it and I think I'm going to work out a way to make the opening smaller.

Yeah that's my issue too. I wish they had at least made the mesh match the fabric.
Most places allow me to openly carry Lola, others are ok with her being visible but contained. Basically I just can't take her into food stores.

I'm still looking for the perfect bag too, the snoozer bag is about 80% perfect. I'm going to try making a few modifications.

But I didn't want to order it as it ships from China and if I don't like it, there is no way to return it. The first bag is made by the same company and I have prime amazon membership so returning it should not be a problem if I don't like it.

Is this for the Le Petit or Soho? The Le Petit looks very cute but for almost $200 I'v been hesitant to order it because I can't see it in person and it looks narrow. I decided the kennel is probably large for everyday.. but I'm still debating about the le petit.

Everything I wrote is about the Soho bag, I've never seen the Le Petit.

I love my Soho. . . Galen is 3.6 lbs. he fits in to wonderfully and I love all the features it has.
