Chris Christenson Silk Spirits Review I read about this product on another member's thread and wanted to try it. It's a really neat little product. It has 'silk proteins' in it as well as other things. It feels just like a silicone product, but doesn't have silicones in it, thankfully. I like to use it on Marcel after I brush him - I take a quarter size of it and rub it all over his coat to make it more silky (he has a drier coat) - it eventually just sort of soaks in. I think it makes his coat texture better, as well as helping to an extent in preventing tangles. It also seems to make the next brushing-out event a bit easier. So, not a miracle product for me - but a really nice product overall. Does anyone else use it? |
I just used Chris Chrstensen products for the first time yesterday and I love them. I ordered the trial size Spectrum Ten which included the shampoo, conditioner, ice on ice and thick and thicker. I am going to order either the Silk Spirits or Precious Drop so I am anxious to see what others thing of Silk Spirits. |

Just looked up the Precious Drop - that looks really cool too! |
I will have to try the CC Silk Spirits and Precious Drops. We use Pet Silk silk serum for detangling before baths, but I don't like that it has silicone. |
I used the CC products. But I am liking the Wampum products better. All natural. I am using Wampum Water-soluble coat oil it is great. I take only a few drops and mix it with water and give him a final rinse. Then dry. . . Lit is making Galen's coat a lot smoother |
I use the Silk Spirits on Leo. I also use Paws 'n Claws Dry skin relief for brush outs, which has no silicone. Why is silicone bad? |
I haven't used the Silk Spirits but have been wanting to try it, I might order it next time. I have tried some of the other Chris Christensen products, which are the Spectrum Ten shampoo and conditioner, and the Precious Drop. The shampoo and conditioner makes Leroy's and Evie's coat soft, and shiny. I also really like the Precious drop for daily brushing. I tried the Ready to use but I still dilute it with one part water and one part precious drop. |

Here is a site (keep in mind, they are selling products) that claims some silicones are better than others: Silicones: Good, Bad & The Ugly |

I like cc products Some were given to me for Zoey the shampoo and creme rinse. I like really well...at the risk of sounding stupid without research are these other products add in to the shampoo and creme rinse or replacement of..... If you like cc products you must try the coat dressing! It is amazing! Sprays out like a foam very lightly across your hand and after bathing and final brush smooth that over their coat. Calms the frizzies big time! And no build up! You will LOVE it... |
