Beware UK buyers, I contacted this site about a week before I placed an order and got a reply so all was good.
Ordered a Puppy Angel coat at £36 which is almost $60, checked in a few days later to see if the delivery was tracked but it said I had never placed an order, even though my paypal account shows the payment, since then I have tried to call but their number is always engaged, also not answering my emails or message on Facebook. I think they must have gone bust.

I so so wanted this pretty coat for Alfie, I am off to Spain a week on Friday (girls long weekend) so the coat will have to wait until next payday.

That is a beautiful coat! If you paid by credit card will your card cover your loss? Several years ago I paid in advance on my credit card for lasic eye surgery and the company went bellyup before I got my surgery. I contacted the credit card company and I never was charged for the lasic. I would have been out a couple thousand dollars.

Beautiful coat. I hope you can find it somewhere else. You can file a complaint with PayPal and have your money returned.

Unfortunately not paid with PayPal that comes from my current account, I have opened a case with Paypal but nit much they can do if the vender is bust.

Eek, glad you were able to get your money back from your cc.

Thanks Kristan, I have opened a case, I have to wait 20 days for them to take it any further. I have seen the coat on Amazon too but not in the same size colour combination for Alfie. There are about 6 colours, I pArticularly like this style as it has the zip fastening for a harness. The red is lovely too, but I really loved the white.

Oh I see. Since their web page is still up I hope they are still in business and maybe you will win your case. Good luck.

I have been trying to contact them since 18th September.. They answered a question I had just a few days before that but now, nothing.

Ew that doesn't look very good. I wish you the best. When I called the lasic place that went out of business there was a message saying they were no longer in business and gave you instructions for filing a claim on their bankruptcy. I guess my credit card did that. I don't know.

I pay PayPal with my credit card and my credit card company works it out with Pay Pal as in it's their loss not mine.

By the way, you should check out the vendors' list, many will make custom clothing, all you have to do is send a picture and measurements of you dog.

Thanks Nancy, I know there are some really talented people here, but shipping to UK from the states is really expensive, a lot of the time it is more than you are paying for the item. I haven't checked though if there are UK venders. Will do that now.

Oh no, I hope it gets figured out & PayPal will give you your money back. Usually the seller will respond quickly to the dispute.

I just went through a similar situation and Paypal settled it for me.

Just wanted to add, a customer of mine from another country filed a claim bc he didn't get his order after 6 business days. I was upset bc he never contacted me to find out what's going on. It can take up to 14 business days for International orders. Anyhow, I had all the proof to show PayPal, like the customs form & postal receipts. He lost loll & he ended up getting his order a few days later.
So the seller has to show proof that they sent you the jacket, if they don't have anything, they lose & you'll either get that jacket or your money back.

Thanks Jenny, I really think they have gone bust. I have tried in every way I can to contact them and would never open a dispute or give bad reviews without doing all I can to have it settled. I guess it was just really bad timing as they picked up my info request on ya short time before I ordered so I had to believe they were trading.

I have seen the coat now on a few other sites in the colour I want but am just really disappointed that I may have to pay for it twice. I buy a lot of my own clothes in sales and on ebay and wonk rarely pay that much for my own stuff.

So, I don't get to check my emails in work and I always check the new posts here before checking emails when I get home.

Email sent from pettecoats.com at around 03:30 this morning, see below. I am delighted they have got back to me although I had sent contact by twitter, Facebook, web form, via paypal and tried to phone.

Dear Tracey,

I'm extremely sorry for the late reply and the lack of customer service. We were experiencing some major issues with our email server but it seems to be fixed now. I would also like to apologise for the delay in your order, this item is actually sent straight from Puppy Angel and we thought that it had been completed. Unfortunately they've recently let us know that in fact they had shortages in stock and this is why your item has been delayed. They have since confirmed that the order has now been shipped and so it should be with you within the next day or two.

I'm very sorry for any inconveniences caused by this and we will process a 10% refund to your account.
