Backpack or Sling? Hi, I am looking for something to use to carry my puppy around with me during the day. I have an energetic, 19-week-old girl, and I am trying to train her to be more lap-dog than she is at this point. I like the thought of the back-pack (though it is really a front-pack) because I think she would feel more free, but I am wondering if it is really safe for her to have her legs dangling for so long. The sling seems a little flimsy to me, and I don't want to have to walk around with one hand supporting her all the time. Does anyone have any preference on these, or can you speak on pros and cons of each? |
I can't imagine those front packs would be very comfortable for the dogs. I know mine like to have their legs supported. The cuddle up sling sold by Yorkie Haven Rescue has a pad that fits inside to give a firm surface for the dog to sit on. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...og-slings.html |
