Thanks for posting this. I have been looking for a nice car seat forever but they are so expensive. The reviews on this are really good. It has been so heavily on my mind lately that my babies need to be secure in the car instead of riding on my lap. I have some loop things that attach to the rear car seatbelt but the pups get upset when I attach them and they keep trying to jump in thr front seat. I ordered two of these. I hope they will enjoy riding in the back seat now since they will be able to lounge in this nice bed. Shipping is free and when I went to check out I had some Amazon cash that I applied to my order. Sweet!

What a crazy price for a great car seat. If I didn't already have the same one in medium, I'd be tempted, but that's already very large for Katie. It is now only $51.00, and it's usually around 200.00. I hope all of your babies love their new car seats.

Does anyone know if this has tethers to hold the dogs in?? Would this size be ok for both of my boys??

I am getting a new car and am on the lookout for a car seat. Now that I have two boys, it's impossible to take them both unless I have someone to help me.

I copied this from Petco's description of the carseat. They call it a double seat, but it's the same one as the large. I have the medium for Katie, and it's huge for her. I got it instead of the small so that I could use it for two in the future. Right now we are loving just Katie.

It has two tethers on the large, but I'm not sure how it will hold up in an accident because part of the tether is a heavy plastic. I don't think any one that's included with a car seat will be better, but I think something like a PawRider coupled with this car seat would be better. YT member Lil Sis sells them.

I've attached photos of Katie in her medium Snoozer Luxury Lookout II. I definitely think two Yorkies would fit comfortably laying down, but at this price, the large is a steal. I have no idea why this is so inexpensive since it's currently on the Snoozer website in this color for $210. The black nylon in the first photo other than the leash is the tether. Katie is very secure with it attached to her harness, but I'm still uncertain about the safety in a crash. I worry about everything, particularly when it comes to protecting my little girl.

She does have plenty of room in the medium. How much does she weigh? I have two teapots so I thought they would need the large one to be able to lie down. I hope they both fit in my back seat.

Your boys should be find in them, even if you wanted to use one for both of them. It's strange that this one is so inexpensive, because the color is current, and everywhere else, I saw them no less than $180 last week. The Snoozer website shows that color, too. I think it's a really pretty color, one that will go well in most cars.

Katie should be between 6.5 and 7 pounds, but she is closer to 8, and we are struggling to get the weight off from when she was spayed. I am thinking she is about 10" long by 10" high. I did a quick measurement, and I know I was off, but Gemy told me that those are most likely her measurements. She spent a weekend with her at a conformation show when she and Razzle were being shown. Since she trains with our breeder, she saw Katie many times thereafter, so I trust her measurements over my own.

Shinja, (Lil Sis) sells the PawRider Seatbelt Adapter. The other tethers in the Snoozer work to restrain the pups. There was a report about car safety with these seats, and the tethers haven't always stood up in an impact. I don't know how the Snoozer tether faired, but unless you go for something like a PawRider, the tethers in these car seats are the weakest link. The car seats are beautiful!

I saw on Amazon that the medium Snoozer Luxury Lookout II in red with camel trim is $76.32. The scarlett mutt is $170.00. I like red, particularly for Yorkies, so I definitely would have considered one of these.

I followed the link and it only pulled up a black one on sale for $148.61. Does this mean they have sold out of the red one so soon after you posted the link? I guess I'm just out of luck.

Thank you for the link Lisa. I probably would have picked a color other than red but I think the red is kind of pretty. For the price I think red will be ok. The only thing that has stopped me from buying one of these in the past was the price. I was just looking at car seats at a boutique a couple of weeks ago and they were well over $200 even with the 20% off birthday coupon I had.

I will let you know if it looks like anything is wrong with the car seat when I get it. The pups don't usually ride in the car that much with us but I know they are not safe on my lap. I always worry about that. The park where we walk is only about a mile from my house and there is very little traffic but they are always at risk when they are loose in the car. Plus they are distracting jumping on and off of my lap if I am driving. I have heard rumors that we may be getting a law that you can be ticketed by police if you have loose dogs in the car. So the timing is just right.

My husband ordered Katie's medium Luxury Snoozer Lookout II from Amazon. He has a very good eye for detail, and this was the one he chose for Katie. He preferred the buff color, but there was about a $40.00 savings on the camel. He paid around $130.00 for it, which was a really good price. It came in perfect condition packaged on Snoozer's original box.

This is an amazing price for an excellent car seat, and you'd never get another one of this quality for the price. I feel bad for other retailers when they offer something this low because I'm sure they pay way more for them wholesale than this. But maybe Snoozer offers them specials on one color periodically so that Amazon can offer prices like this occasionally.

Both Snoozers will be five feet across, so unless your car is small, they should fit. You probably would have been fine with one, but having one for each pup will be nice. Otherwise, you can probably easily sell it to someone you know for that price.

I'm sure nothing is wrong with the seat. Amazon probably just wants to move them quickly. The manufacturer, Snoozer, requires small retailers to sell at a certain price, but allows Amazon to sell at deep discounts and to buy stock at a much lower wholesale price.

Your pups will love the plush seat, and it will be safer for all of you.

We were posting at the same time. It is hard on retailers, but great for consumers. Retailers can get around the rules a little by offering storewide sales.

Daisy and Teddy Bear never liked to snuggle together so just one wouldn't really work that well. I have a Sonata and it is pretty large so they should fit. If they don't I guess hubby will have one in his car. I can't wait to get them.

It's the same one. Yesterday it was $91.00. It usually is $180 at amazon.com. The other colors were $180.00 yesterday. You got an incredible deal. I hope they both fit in the car. At the price you paid, it would be a great bed, too.

My close friend from work ordered it, and she's thrilled. She was going back and forth using it as a couch or car seat for her two dogs. If it ever goes on sale like that again, she is going to get another one. The medium sized red with camel trim (third from last) is $77, which is also a wonderful price, way less than I paid for mine.

Unfortunately both of the large seats don't fit in my back seat. They are pretty big. I need about one or two inches more for them to fit. I am looking to get a new car soon and might be able to use both in my new car. Daisy seems to like riding in it. She tried to jump in the front seat one time and when she couldn't make it she didn't try again. Driving was so nice not worrying about them being loose though. I think there will be enough room for both of them in one seat and the seat came with two straps. I wanted to let them yet used to riding one at a time in it before trying them both because they don't really like to snuggle each other that much.
