Bones and Food Good Morning I have a 12 week old male and he needs a good chew toy or bone to help along his puppy teeth. Can y'all recommend me something (Petsmart). I also would like to know if anyone else uses Natures Recipe food? Thanks! |
I heard those green bones arn't good for Yorkies. |
Chloe is 15 weeks .... I purchased alot of Nylabone Toys .... She likes them all but not the bones that come in the puppy starter kits....She loves Kong Puppy toys I put a little peanut butter inside and she chews and licks that ball for hours .... another one of her favorites is a toy called Petstages cool teething stick....I wet and then put it in the freezer for an hour or two....It stays good for about 45 min then I have to refreeze it. I know there are alot of good puppy foods out there but Chloe is on small breed Purina Pro Plan small breed....I wanted to put her on something better but this is what she was on when I got her and my Vet told me was " She is doing great on this food I wouldn't change it" so I didn't. |
I would got to bestbullysticks.com and order some odor free bully sticks. They are the best chews available and 100% digestible. |
Thanks! I got a nylabone kit today. I also think I will keep Jaxson on Natures Recipe. It seems to go over well and it looks pretty good as far as nutrition and ingredients. |
Mine love bully sticks. I order them from Bestbullysticks.com Both of my yorkies loves the petstages cooling sticks when they were puppies. |
I would use nylabones. I used to give her different bones and bully sticks, which is loved. A month later or so, my puppy developed diarrhea from all different bones and bully sticks. She is on nylabones now but she is not too excited about them. |
Bully sticks saved my life. Not only did it save me from turning into Louie's personal chew toy but they also seem to keep him teeth clean. The only thing I can possibly compare them to is catnip for cats(though the products themselves are nothing alike). No other toy can hold Louie's attention for more than a few minutes. Bully sticks hold his attention for long enough for us to cook and eat dinner is peace, watch a movie, or some other activities us newlyweds get into. |
