Puppy Pads I've never used puppy pee pads before Harley so I don't really know about which brands are better. I wanted to share though that my husband had bought some at a big chain store at 14 pads for $7 last week and I purchased the Hartz brand at 50 for $10 today at Tractor Supply (regular price). Again I don't know much about the brands, but these Hartz ones were cheaper, look to be better quality, and the bag says they are anti-bacterial. I guess I'll find out soon enough I don't spend less money than my DH, I just get more stuff for the same money.:D Hope it pays off this time. |
Hope they work out for you! I think it was the hartz brand I got last time (they were given to me by a friend). Are they blue on the edges? |

I like them better than the ones I had purchased myself. The ones I had got were beige around them. These are a lot better! I'm pretty sure tey were Hartz. I will ask my friend. |
I finally gave in and went to washable pee pads cause my baby decided she'd rather chew the paper ones. :( I ordered from T Bumpkins & Co. and love them. There is a variety of fabrics to choose from and very well made. Will never go back to paper again. |

They look nicer in my home and they are so well made. Mine get a lot of use/washing and they hold up really well. |

I've been using this brand for years and I really like it. You can also order them from Amazon.com for that price with free shipping with a $25.00 purchase. And you can order them from Wal*Mart for that price with free ship to store. I ordered my last package from them, and the regular size Iris pad holder. Sheila |
My Miss Abagail will use pads for pp but not for poop. Anyone else have this problem? |

Gracie is now 2 years old and I have used the Out brand pads since she was a puppy. They worked fine. Now all of a sudden the urine soaks through to the frame I keep the pads on. I bought a different and more expensive brand that I think is called Solution and they leak, too. It's a good thing I don't put the pads on the floor! Do the Hartz and the Neat 'n Dry pads seep through? Are there any other disposable pads that do not leak? |
I recently discovered that my disposables are leaking too! I use them when I need a laundry break! So I trade laundry for mopping the floor, lol! |

Since my little Kia is in early renal failure, I keep several in different places, and don't use the frame, and I haven't had any problem wiith urine even running off of the pad. Recently found two packages of 100 pads in each, for $20.00 at T.J. Maxx. But, if you don't have a T.J.Maxx or a Marshall's, you can order them from Wal*Mart, with free site-to-store shipping. |

Just wanted to say thank you. This is one of the many items that I forgot I needed. So glad I stumbled across this today and read all the suggestions! How could I forget potty pads :confused::rolleyes: |
I alway put a folded old bath towel under mine just in case they should leak works out great |
I've always used Hartz for the price at Walgreens 50ct for $9.99. Past fews months I've gotten Fred's Dollar Store brand (look like Hartz) 100ct for $14.95. My Opinion is the Fred's worked better. I've also used the Petsmart brand but I didn't pay for them. I got them with some used clothes off of craigslist. I like those because they had sticky squares on the corner to stick to the floor. I pick them up after one bathroom break so I won't spend the money on them. Hope this helps someone but know every dog is different :) |
