Just for future reference DO NOT PURCHASE FROM www.bloomingtails.com THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I ORDERED AND ITEM ON MAY 5TH STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED IT. FIRST THEY LOST THE ORDER , THEN GOT THE ORDER BUT WRONG ITEM . THEY RESUBMITTED THE ORDER AND I AM STILL WAITING..... |

We are having a similar issue with Marilyn Muttroe. My mother in law ordered ks a bed as a present for Christmas. 2 days before Christmas they sent an email saying the item was no longer available. We are still waiting in a refund....5 months after the fact. We even tried to see if they would just let us exchange and they haven't answered us back after many emails. It is frustrating. I feel bad for my mil because it is her money and the bed was over $100. |

that is the downside of ordering online. mine has only been 3 weeks, i couldnt imagine waiting 5 months. i got a email from them 3 days ago asking if they wanted me to reorder the correct item , i said yes. probably should have cancelled but i really want that harness for my baby and they are the only place i could find it. hopefull i will get it soon. baby girl rosie, that is the right co. i just had the wrong link... |

Possibly a phone call? When I have had problems with a company in the past, I have made a phone call and sometimes a warm body on the other end can get things done quicker than someone that is "getting around" to checking email. Hope you both can get this resolved. |

Thanks for mentioning this. I have considered ordering from both of the online sites mentioned. I often wonder how specialty stores like that do financially. With the economy down it could be things are not so great. You never know how big an online store actually is to begin with. It could be people selling out of their dinning room for all anyone knows. They may not even stock all the items they actually list. It's really too bad. Cuts down on my shopping options. |

yes, that is the same company... omg, finally after 4 weeks & 3 days and dozens of emails, my order has shipped as of 5/29/12, yay ! when i get it i will take a pic of my oscar wearing it . i hope it was just a freak thing with my order and none of you have a problem with yours. |
I think that some people become members just to advertize here. I know there are active members that sell things but there are several that just show up when they have something new to sell, which is fine, especially for members that do a lot of handmade items. It's the bigger retailers that you just don't know about. |
I've ordered from Bloomingtails (Custom Small Dog Clothes, Designer Dog Clothes, & Accessories) several times without issue. I wouldn't have had any issue recommending them to my friends. Hopefully, yours was just an isolated incident, and I'm glad to see your item finally shipped. Nevertheless, it can be frustrating to wait on an order when you are really excited about it! I do know many of the online boutiques don't keep stock, so they have to order from the designer when you place your order, and it is not uncommon to wait a month! Crazy for off-the-rack clothes, but there are some designers I just can't seem to resist. ;) Marilyn Muttroe (Designer Dog Clothes, Small Dog Clothing, Dog Carriers and More!) is nothing but trouble as far as I know, and I would run, far, far away! I had a friend order a birthday gift for Rory from them a few years ago, and it took her several months to get a tank top from them with constant emails and threats. It was the I See Spot Chanel tank that was everywhere back then, so it was not an issue of backordering. I felt horrible, especially since she was not really a "yorkie" person, but just a good friend who knew how much I loved to dress my girls. I have another friend who ordered a widely available HipDoggie shirt from them for her pup, with one excuse after the next. When she told me she placed an order from them, I was able to warn her, so thankfully she was able to file a claim with PayPal the day before the window closed. Of course, once she told them she was going to do this they magically sent the shirt out the next day and acted like it was some big misunderstanding that it had taken several ignored emails to resolve. She returned the shirt and bought it from somewhere else! |
