ps, cc, & pp I need some insight on shampoo & conditioner for my 2 fluffs. Right now we have quite a few from PetSilk, like the serum, finishing sprays and such. What I would like to know is how does PetSilk, Chris Christensen, and Pure Paws compare? Knowing me I have buyers impulse and will get all 3 just to try them out but would gladly appreciate any personal reviews on these 3 product lines as well. Thanks. |
I have tried Pet Silk and Chris Christensen. Personally, I liked CC over Pet Silk. But that is just me. Right now I use Yorkie Splash and Shine and as we go into summer I will switch to Minksheen. But have used CC in the past. I really like it but think the YSS holds it's smell longer. |
If I were you I would get all 3. CC and PP have smaller sizes so you can try them out before you buy a bigger size. Petsilk is pretty decent. That is what I use on my 2 boys that don't get shown. My cobreeder gave me a sample of the YSS to try out and I will do that Saturday. I like the CC spectrum 10, IOD everyday silky coat and Espana Silk for my showdogs. It will really be up to you to decide which product works better on your baby. |

WIth Friday her coat is soft so I use the IOD on her and it works good. Smells good to. She gets shaved down in the spring because she is so dark and gets hot quickly. If you do the flat iron make sure you put a comb at the roots of the hair next to the skin it will keep you from burning your baby. |
Beemer is softcoated and I used a flat iron on him when his hair was long. It really helped with tangles and made his hair much silkier appearing. He's a wiggle worm but he did pretty good with it. I only used the flatiron on his back. I divided lengthwise into three sections and clipped them up. Then I split each section into three. I didn't try to get close to his body because I was nervous about burning him. The flatiron was more effective than anything else I did at keeping tangles down and giving him a silky appearance. I never used it around his face. I was too scared of buring him. I did finally give up though and had him cut. He and I are both much happier now. |
Thanks ladies for your input and advice. I will be looking for a mini flat iron soon. It's mainly for my maltese. Tessa is a silky coat terrier so she's a breeze to groom. |
