To me, all prints are cutesy. I'm happy to see that they can be bought in plain colors. Now I have to decide what color I want.

Well Hopefully not bright orange, or pale colors. You will walk in the room and the pad will accentuate the terd right smack dab in the middle.! lol :p

I love T.Bumpkins pads! Just getting ready to order more, and I honestly love the prints. They look adorable and I never smell anything from them! I had cheaper pads, but I kept noticing a pee smell in the rooms where they pads are. Once I switched I no longer noticed any smell. :)

Haven't ordered washables yet, still debating, but these reviews are getting me convinced to do it. Someone mentioned a discount.....how do you get that? Also, I'm assuming they have a protective backing to protect hardwood floors, am I right? And, by the way, mom2twinz[B], I live about 20 minutes from Philly in Pennsville, NJ, (and used to have chickens! I miss my girls. )

The pads do not leak...but they will get wet underneath if the pup piddles at the edge. I am sure you could find a solution for that. T Bumpkins pads are awesome!

I ordered 2 && LOVE them, As far as leaking. They wont leak. Like a user posted... The pup/dog may puddle on the edge. So in order to prevent that. I place my pads in a small litter box. Hope that info. helps.... : )

Is there a trick to washing washables? I admit mine are a different brand but I haven't had too much trouble with smells in the room, BUT the washing machine smells after washing twice with Tide and my housemates are starting to notice a dog pee smell in clothes washed after I use the washer... I just tried soaking them in a bucket outside, which is a fairly messy and unpleasant process... There must be a trick?:confused:

Add 1/2 cup of borax to your wash. Add a second rinse also and see if this helps. We haven't had any issues with ours so I'm glad you pointed out they are a diff brand. Good luck!

Thanks! I was thinking about it and my problem might not be my pads, it may be the washable diaper can liner bag I put them in. That bag is what smells the worst... I'll try the borax though and see how that works. :)

There's no option to edit/add to previous posts? Odd... Anyway, if anyone else has my problem: don't wash super absorbent things on the lowest water setting. Should be obvious but I didn't think about it. They were just absorbing all the water and then flopping around instead of washing. Whoops... Feeling fairly stupid now...:doh:

I really messed up with Tucker when I brought him home. I had washable pads ready for him, once he used them, quite easily.....he wanted to use anything cloth on the floor! I had to remove all of my throw rugs bath mats etc! I went to the disposable ones ...waited a week or so and tried my rugs again....no...he thinks it is his pee pad! Now I have no rugs and I use disposable pads and have no problems! Just wished I had not started him on washables to begin with and I may have saved all my rugs!

My boy has a preference for throw rugs too but that started before I got washable pads.

I could never myself buying disposable ones anymore. I would highly recommend the T. Bumpkins ones.. Matter of fact I need to order some more!

How long do these last before you have to replace them? I currently use PeePee Pads and can get 100 pads for about $15. One box lasts about a year. I would have to buy at least 3 to cover where the disposables are now and 1 for a washing backup so basically that would be a little over $80 shipped. I could buy about 5 years worth of PeePee Pads for the same cost so was just curious if it would be worth it or is it just the principle of washables?
