Doggy Bed Fluffy seems to eat every bed we have gotten him (3 now). Now he sleeps on a towel at night. Does anyone have a recommendation for a bed that he wouldn't want to chew up? |
Yep. Yours.;) |
Have you tried spraying the beds with Bitter Apple? It could work. |

My sisters dog does the same so I made a type of bed with no stuffing that folds into itself- hard to explain but looks like an upside down pillbox hat. I used a soft fleeced upholtstery fabric that has a little body to it, but is washable. Some of the "snuggle sacks" are made without stuffing... |
Wish I had some advice but My Tessie tears up every small bed we have. We bought a bed that is for a large dog and she hasn't bothered it because it is too heavy for her to drag around, but her sister Sassy has chewed the zipper now. |

Love it! :) |
My wife won't allow him in the bed with us...she doesn't want it to become a bad habit..so for now it will be the folded towel..he seems to sleep well, but I wish I could give him something more comfortable. |

Silky feeling fleece throws are comfy and easy to wash. They are very inexpensive and available at Ross or walmart for $5-7,or buy 1 yard of fleece at the fabric store. I cut one into smaller pieces for Ziva to use around the house in the cooler weather, the edges don't fray. |
How about stuffing the towel and sewing it up like a pillow? |

Cloud 9 bed is great. I posted pictures in this link: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-nine-bed.html Our dog never really liked his beds before, now he just curls right in. Here's a link: Cloud Nine Beds*::*Bedding*::*Yorkie Haven Rescue Boutique |
oops, didn't read your post carefully enough. sorry. For eating/biting the bed, just correct him. When he tries to bite the bed and play with it, just tap him to get his attention and say "no." This is what we did too. |
