Pattern for washable pee pads? Does anyone have a pattern for washable pee pads? I am in school to become a midwife and have 15-20 hospital pads that I would like to make washable pads for my babies, but can't find an actual pattern anywhere. Anyone?? TIA |
Midwife,no kidding that is great! I used to be a doula at hospital and home births. Our last two were born at home. Who would of known. Peepads: I would think if you have washable hospital pads, you could lay cute flannel over each side and serge or zigzag to the size you want, trim if there is extra fabric. |

My baby absolutely will NOT use peepads. This winter is not going to be fun and as much as she loves baths and the pool, she really hate the rain. SIGH ,,,,, I did try to get her to keep using them when she came to me. |
even my whelping pads are looking tired and raggedy, I am doing this later this month.I eyed a pretty flanel at Joann's this weekend..:D |
I make my own. I do not use a pattern. I just cut them to fit the plastic tray I have. 16" by 20" when finished. I sew them like a pillow case, then turn right side out for last hem. I also sort of quilt them, every 4 " I sew a seam from hem to hem both ways. This works beautifully and like the other ladies above, I use flannel or cute 100 % cotton print that I prewash. |

The local Walmart had some red and black pawprint flannel on sale for $1 a yard! Almost wish my Ziva used peepads  |
