Advice on a few last items please..... I only have a few more items to get and then I am all ready for Winnie. But, instead of Winnie and I having to go through trial and error, I thought it would be best to again ask the professional parents!! 1. Toothbrush and paste??? What do you use?? 2. Harness use? I purchased a nylon harness from petsmart, but have a stupid question. I am going to crate train her for outside potty use. Which means taking her out every hour and during the night. She will only be 12 wks. My question is... Should I have her sleep in her harness? I can't image trying to get her in her harness to go outside in the middle of the night. Not to mention she might pee on me... Also, I heard it could mess up her hair to have in on a lot?? 3. Wanting to use washable pee pads in her xpen (2'x6') for when she can't be with us. Where do you get the best (quality and price)? I have seen a lot of them online. Thank you all for all of your advice. It is truly much appreciated! I am so excited....Come on 2 wks!!!! |
Tbumpkins makes great washable pee pads and at a great price Chattiesmom, Cindy makes silk harnesses they do not mess up the hair and they are easy to put on, she can also make you a matching leash. http://www.doggiepeepads.com/ |
Walk-Nice Harness Closeup of Center Front Leash Attachment Cindy makes custom fit harnesses, she also makes matching leashes and break away collars. I know with a puppy she either makes one adjustment or something like that however you will have to speak with her, she has some beautiful fabric to choose from and the harness is very light weight due to being made from silk. Its very easy on and off and will be comfortable for your puppy. I never kept it on through out the night just incase it got caught on something in her pen, but it was simple to put on and off. |

2. We use puppia for Carmel and LOVE it. For Emma's bday, we're getting her one too. 3. I don't use one, but I know there are many vendors for those on YT. OMG How exciting!! Be sure to post pictures of Winnie! :D |
I have an 8 month old, Tucker, and we recently switched to Washable potty pads. I am a little crazy, but I wanted "cute" pads; as they are like permanant fixtures in your home, lol:rolleyes:. I found some wonderful designs (cute damasks, argyles, etc.) from a online boutique...but paid way too much for them:confused:. But I got to try them, realized they were Wonderful quality...then found that I could buy them direct at prettypeepads.com:thumbup:. They were affordable direct; and have washed awesome, and absorb very quickly! I am placing a follow up order...to keep more in the linen closet. Good Luck, I know there are a ton of great places to purchase them. :D |
