Definitely going with the small. I just don't think my 16'lber will fit right in the x-small with his muscular chest. lol |
I was wondering if this would work on a yorkie that has cerebellar hyperplasia. SHe has intention tremors. I wonder if it would calm her down enough to gain a little more functional motor control. She is only 2.5 lbs and her chest is 10". Do you think that a xxsmall would even fit? |
We are on our 7th straight day of thunderstorms and poor Teddy is shaking like a leaf. I ordered the Thundershirt for him yesterday and I am eager to give it a try. Hope it will bring him some relief. |

I am having a heck of a time contacting the company for more info. They did e-mail a reply but it was not very helpful as they refered me to another portion of their website that did not answer my question. |

It arrived, the thundershirt I ordered for Winston is here. It fits him well and he didn't seem to mind having it on, I was a little worried about this because he's a nudist...never wears clothes. We haven't had a storm yet, but I'm ready for it...gosh I hope this works! |

The thundershirt is great for more than thunder! Madison always gets car sick and it's a miracle we took an hour and a half drive to grampa's house and she was fine! She also doesn't do well in puppy K because she's too distracted with the surroundings so we're forced to just observe the training by watching the other dogs while Madison just sits like a log. We put the shirt on for her first day of puppy K 2 and the trainer was even using Madison as an example for the class! The shirt is a MIRACLE :) |
The Thundershirt works for Teddy!:thumbup: We are having severe storms right now. Our table umbrella and heavy metal table were thrown to the other side of the deck. Umbrella smashed. Tree branches everywhere. Teddy isn't completely relaxed, but he isn't panicked and shaking violently. I don't have to worry that he will stress to the point of making himself sick. This is amazing considering the spectacle on the deck. |

Another Great Update This Thundershirt rocks! I had to run to the post office a few days ago and it was thundering out. I hate to leave Cooper at home during a storm but I had no choice. I put the Thundershirt on him and kissed him goodbye. 20 minutes later when I got home I was shocked to find Cooper in a room other than the living room. Usually when I arrive home, he's sitting very still on the living room couch waiting and shaking with excitement (or nerves)? This time he sat, cool as a cucumber on the sofa in a back room. He didn't really even care I was home. I was so surprised and realized that he must have anxiety when I'm not around. Cooper is also very sensitive to serious human conversations. Whenever my partner and I have a conversation or debate he gets upset and crawls off into a corner and shakes. We aren't even raising our voices at all. Well, I figured "what the heck" let me put the Thundershirt on him. So I did and he sat right between us without a worry in the world. The shirt may not work for all dogs. In fact, it does nothing for Max. But for my little Coop Dog, this thing is amazing. |
