i have the XXS for morgan and she is almost 5lbs with a chest of 11.5inches. it fits her just right. hopefully it won't be too big for Beemer.

No it doesn't. I had a little issue with it this morning when I prepared Max for his walk. I put his Buddy Belt over the Thundershirt, but that only tightened the Thundershirt around his neck when he pulled, so that didn't work well. I was able to put his Buddy Belt under the Thundershirt and then pull the leash through the mess. A D-ring attachment would have been nice, but regardless it doesn't work for my crazy little walking barker.

awww....wished it worked for him. I know how frustrating this can be. My granpuppy Cole is an avid barker with high anxiety. I too wish it had a D-ring attachment. Would like to try one for Cole.

Oh I definitely think you should try it. You can finagle it with a harness to work. I wish it worked for Max too. I'm not too sure what else I can do. There are no trainers in the area and I just don't know how I can help him. I'm not losing any sleep over it though. If he barks for a few minutes on his walk, so be it. At least he can walk.

I think the key to the shirt is to put it on before the anxiety starts. I found that it works best this way. If i know there is going to be a storm (or fireworks) then I will put the shirt on earlier in the day, or before i leave for work. Since its just like a regular shirt I feel safe leaving it on her unsupervised. If i put it on when the storm has already started and she has already started panting and hiding I will still see good results but it takes her longer to relax and she is still a little on guard. The shaking and panting will stop and she'll sit with me, but she is still very aware of every noise outside.

Anyway, I hope the shirt works for Cooper tonight and I can't wait to hear how it works on Max's barking on walks.

I have considered ordering this- but keep putting it off because I don't know if it will work- this good review makes me want to take the plunge though.

Armani is 5.5 pounds- would an XS be what I need?

OMG the pink is new and so cute! I want it! LOL I don't need another one though. :(

Just take the plunge and buy it. If it doesn't work you can return it for a full refund cause of the guarantee.

Morgan weight ranges from 4lbs 12oz to 5lbs 4oz (depends on time of year, amount of hair, and the contents of her stomach, bladder, and colon :rolleyes: hahaha). Her chest is 11.5inches and she's about 11 inches long from withers to tail base. I'm gonna go take some pictures of her in the shirt right now and post them so you can get an idea of how it fits and her size.

This is good to know! Jackson doesn't generally have problems with thunderstorms, unless there is really loud thunder, etc. We don't seem to get a lot of big storms. But anyways... when I was away in SC three weekends ago, my dad said he freaked out after a fairly big t-storm that we had in MD and was really scared. I think it was worse that I wasn't there. He also is terrified of fireworks. This may work for us during our 4th of July Gettysburg trip. Last year, I sat in the hotel room with him while they went off.

I think you should both give it a try. The company has a very simple return policy whereas if you aren't satisfied, then simply return for a full refund. I'm really surprised it works with Cooper's fear of loud noises, but I am hoping for one more thunderstorm to really test it.

We had a really loud thunderstorm on Tuesday night. At the first sound of thunder Morgan jumped out from under the blanket she had been sleeping under and started her shaking and hiding routine. I immediately put her shirt on and brought her over to the couch with me. She settled down within minutes and went back to sleep. I would have put the shirt on early but i didn't even notice it was raining outside :rolleyes:

Teddy Bear was freaking out when the last storm hit a few days ago and he heard hail hitting the roof. So I got a Thundershirt for him and put it on him just before the storms started last night. The storms lasted several hours with plenty of lightening and thunder (no hail though). Teddy slept like a baby by my side and didn't react at all to the noise and the light show. I am calling around trying to find another one for Daisy and everyone tells me they are selling out like crazy and they don't have her size right now. Daisy was calm the night we got the hailstorm but for some reason last night when Teddy Bear was calm wearing the Thundershirt, she seemed scared. I know it doesn't work for everyone, but it sure worked for Teddy Bear.
