Homemade Kong for little Marcel?
 
I really want Marcel to have a Kong, but even the smallest one is too big for his teensy mouth. Can anyone think of some household thing that could serve as a Kong for the wee yorkies?

What about the ones shaped like bones? Still too big?

They have a smaller one. I don't think it is a KONG brand. I had bought on for Jack when he was younger. I will check around the internet and see if I can find it.

How much does Marcel weigh? (Have you seen the Hey Marcel commercials?)

Marcel weighs just over 3 pounds, but he looks much smaller...he's very cobby/compact. His mouth is sooooo tiny, compared to others his size.

I was about to give up but here is a link for you to look at them. I know Petsmart carried these at one time.

Petstages Occupi, I used the light blue one it is the smallest. They also had one in the pink too.

That small blue Occupi might be perfect but if you can't find that you could get a hack saw and saw off the largest section of the puppy sized kong. I'm talking about the swirly colored pink or blue ones. If there were crumbly bits left on the edges that might worry you, just sand the edge smooth with progressively finer pieces of sandpaper. It's worth a try.

Hah, what a good idea! I knew people would have ideas. Sawing off part of it might be the perfect size. Thanks!

Those kongs are big for teenie mouths arent they. They need a tiny dog version. I hope sawing off works

Tibbe has a very tiny one I bought from our Petco a couple of years back. It is only just 3" long and 1 5/8" across at the wide end. It says "Kong" on the side in raised lettering.

Those Kongs also are heavy too. Might be hard for a small baby to pick up.
